Yeah this is it for me. If Bolton go ahead and beat both Portsmouth and Peterborough, it'd be hard for even the most biased Derby to fan to say we deserve an autos spot over them...

    Some of you  really got in a state didn’t you, yes the performance wasn’t great but we still got a point , yes it gives Bolton and Peterborough hope but we are still second, the lads need all our support at the minute , the fans at Wycombe last night were magnificent btw, we all knew it was going to be a rollercoaster and there are some twists left 
      The manager and players know what they have to do and I would rather be in our position than the other two , on to Saturday and with a few more bodies back I expect a reaction to last night , all is not lost , let’s all do our best for our club COYR

Gosh this thread is a hard read at times. For those of you so dissatisfied at Warne, the style of football etc, genuine question. Did you not get any enjoyment from scoring a near last minute goal and the amazing atmosphere that it created in the ground? Did you not enjoy the celebrations amongst the players and fans at the end of the match? Did you not enjoy the infectious enthusiasm of Adams interview afterwards? Didn't you enjoy getting three points and remaining second in the league? Because it honestly feels like none of this brings you any joy, and I find that hard to understand.

Believe he’s a Derby born and a fan by all accounts.

Just listened to the Gaffers post match interview. Really honest and thoughtful. He clearly cares for his players and loves the Club. We clearly didn’t have the money to compete with other rival clubs for transfers, that or we refused to pay over the odds for Smith or Gregory. Selling Bird wasn’t in the plan unless we got a good offer which we did and we’ve got him for the season, I would hope we can use that money in the summer.
How in any way is this down to Warne?. People will say Ward Bradley Fornah (although most were supportive of those transfers at the time), I will raise you Hourihane Smith Collins Mendez Laing Barkhuizen who I would bet any money will be in the top 5-10 earners at the club, none signed by Warne and of them people only want Mendez (although I also like Collo). However it is dressed up we’re still being restricted by an EFL business plan. We should hopefully have wriggle room in the summer (unless this really is the limit of Clowes spending in which case we potentially have some issues).
They tried but ultimately we go with what we’ve got. Overall we’re stronger than when we started the window. Washington just needs stay fit and be our second striker to Collo. In fairness he was starting to look good when he got injured.
You’d be fools to write us off. I remember 2015 January window, we were top 2 and signed Bent Ince Lingard De Sart and we were thinking what a window we’ve just nailed promotion. Look how that turned out - we didn’t even make the playoffs!

What a ridiculous thing to say.  He’s saying how it is and you’ll use anything as a stick to beat him with.  It’s just the situation we are in and working within our business plan.

Our midfield is nonexistent, Collins is no goalscorer, just gets lucky often, Bird hides all game long, Warne is not fit for Sunday league, we won in spite of our players.

If you'd heard him talk about JJ after his injury last night, you might change your view that he's a "fake". Some times he does come across as flippant but then so did some of the greatest managers in the history of English football, and he's nowhere near as dismissive or condescending as some of them. Even opposition fans find his post-match interviews refreshing : he might temper his criticism of his own team's performance, but he never denigrates the opposition or fails to give them credit.
The sense of entitlement I get from some of our fans comes from a different planet to the one I come from - I'll never agree with it, hence I will disappear from time to time just to get away from it. Allot of the criticism and questions raised by the more thoughtful posters is absolutely fair, but so many have now put the recent past struggles behind them, almost as if it's a trauma they want to bury, that they seem incapable of measured opinions.
In summary, I never believed that Warne was the Messiah, but he's not a naughty boy either and I wish that those who will never accept him would at least tone down the abuse.

After all our woes, I'd not have wished that on anyone.

6 points from the last 3 teams we've played is more than good enough for me. Let's go again against some of the poorer teams now.

Let’s be real about that. They were the best side we’ve seen in this league over this season and last. We didn’t deserve 3 points, and we barely deserved one. 
I applaud Warne for recognising the battering we were taking and changing formation first half and then personnel at the half. It stemmed it somewhat, but we always looked ropey every time they came forward. 
They have everything we don’t going forward and that’s the blueprint for our transfer business. Too slow and static 
No excuse for those final two goals though. Tragic defending and goalkeeping. 

What an awesome win yesterday against Oxford. I reckon that’s just the warm up for the match against Peterborough. Bring on the New Year bounce 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

"Technically", that was a first class away day job done by all involved.
A tad disappointed we didn't capitalise more on our first half superiority.
And in fairness, that nervy last 20 minute watch was based more on history than what was actually happening on the pitch, but that doesn't make it any less nervy.
Still... correct score on the prediction thingy, another 3 points on the board, and Pompey, we really are coming for you.
