Not sure if he's done it to make it look worse, or simply because if any of them get injured today we're even deeper in the poo. Plus the youngsters need to get on the pitch at some point in pre-season if they're going to be on the bench for the first game.

Thought Bird played quite well going forward, he made loads of really nice incisive passes forward in to the front four, not his fault they didn't do anything with it. He looked slightly lightweight defensively though.
Forsyth played well when he came on, by far our best crosser of the ball. Buchanan really needs to learn from him how to do that. Sibley was bright and Ebosele looked exciting, while Morrison seemed inventive.
    The rest of them... Meh

Off to North and South Uist in the Outer Hebrides next week, looks like the weather might just hold up until then. Got a week up in Northumberland in September too, another beautiful place that is often overlooked in favour of trips to Spain.
I've accepted holidays abroad simply won't be feasible until after Christmas, so why not take the chance to explore these beautiful British Isles while I get the chance?

People going on about him being club captain - is that written into his contract?
Because I would bet it's not written into his contract and I would bet his contract has the same terms and conditions regarding behaviour as everyone elses.
If Keogh has been sacked for something despite the fact two people who actually received criminal convictions were kept on, we can't really be surprised he's fought his corner and won.

If you were sacked from your job when two other people who were more to blame were kept on, and then told that you could recoup the money you would have acquired during a short playing career, I don't think a single one of you wouldn't have tried to get the money back.
We're all coming at this from the position of fans, so as such we want the best thing for the club. That's natural. Richard Keogh will have done the best thing for him, which is also natural.
If this club was run properly a lot of you wouldn't be nearly soo angry at the decision and that £2 million wouldn't make an incredible amount of difference to our plan.
The person to blame for this is, yet again, Mel Morris who is the opposite of King Midas with his decision making. The man can't run a club properly, can't sack anyone properly and it seems can't even sell the club properly.

I don't think we should underestimate what going down would have meant. People would have lost their jobs if they had. I'm not talking about players, but back room staff and people behind the scenes. The players interact with these people on a daily basis, so I'm sure it's not lost on them what that result meant. It will have weighed on their minds heavily, no doubt. I have no problem with them releasing all that tension and anxiety with celebrating fans.

He's a cracking fella and a great character to have around. I actually thought he was pretty unlucky for the second goal, couldn't sort his feet out in time, and the third goal should have been given offside I'm willing to forgive him for that.
Buchanan should be first choice next season, but I see no issue keeping Fozzy around as back up. We have far more pressing matters to attend to during the transfer window than replacing someone who is set to be our 2nd choice left back next season.
