Yes that’s right, part of that IT outage was train services related but I highlighted that I had traveled yesterday and the only problems was the normal cancellations by the ongoing drivers dispute.
I bought my printed ticket in advance and always have cash readily available before I travel.
Liz Truss has nothing to do with the I.T. outage but people have posted about her for some bizarre reason.
Did you not have any problems making a doctors appointment or buying stuff from Morrisons either?

I’ve had mine coming up to 4 weeks now and I’d echo what @GboroRam and @Gritstone Ram have said. It really is effortless driving. I went for the Kona with the bigger battery and a marketed range of 319 miles. So far, I’d say that’s about right but do expect it drop off in the winter months, just like your MPG in an ICE car does. I’ve only charged at home and a 5 hour charge on the Octopus Go tariff adds about 50%, so about 160miles, to the battery for about £3.
I've test driven a Kona and I preferred it to the Niro. Not tried the newer Kona yet though. There's a works salary sacrifice scheme that has a few 'decent' choices, one of which is the Volvo EV. Always fancied a Volvo but never really had the extra money to justify buying one.

Cheap as chips to run if you get an EV tariff. Pay less tax if it’s a company car. No visits to the petrol station. Summer is 25% better than winter.
Ermmm Ermmm apart from that it’s a car.
They're quite nippy too aren't they, although I'm comparing it with our sluggish Nissan Note. 😄

Actually that makes a lot of sense. BMW are making everything a chargeable extra, so probably indicator stalks are on a monthly subscription. BMW drivers are choosing to not pay, and I don't blame them.
I was listening to the golf commo and thinking how everything 'has to' move with the times. There's lots of inability to accept change in all sorts of areas it seems. But when focussing on negatives the greater positives are often (deliberately) overlooked.
So we're keen on getting an EV soon, so what is the best bits to 'embrace' and what do you really like about them. 🙂 👍

If Osborn is going to be utilised in central midfield we desperately need a LWB.
A GK, LWB and another CM at least.
It's good to see we'll be able to play the 'who plays where' game this season too. 😄

Pronunciation has little to do with education. I am well-educated but am tone-deaf and have real difficulty picking up pronunciations.
That's why I excelled in Latin - didn't have to pronounce it, just read and write it!
"Pronunciation in the English language classroom is more than just 'listen and repeat'
What makes teaching pronunciation different from teaching other parts of the English language?
Pronunciation is more than 'listen and repeat'. Pronunciation includes features of language (vocabulary and grammar) and skills (speaking and listening).
Like vocabulary and grammar, we pronounce by noticing and understanding rules and patterns which lie beneath the surface of speech.
For example, if an English word has two syllables, the stress is usually on the first syllable for nouns and adjectives, and the second syllable for verbs."

That reminds me of the Apple cockup decades ago when - you know they hate having any ways to attach external drives - their machines needed their modem drivers updated but they couldn't connect to the internet to download them. Lol.
