  1. Did Y Not when I was 18 in 2018. Nice little festival with good bands, and not as druggy as some of the bigger ones if that sort of thing puts you off.
  2. I live in Canada so would be a stretch to get a season ticket 🙂
  3. Excellent. That's my festive away day plans done for!
  4. Do they sell away memberships mid-season? Nothing showing on the website - was going to call in a few days.
  5. Nowhere near as bad as the effects of tobacco though, presumably?
  6. Kids don't smoke cigs anywhere near as much these days. It's bordering on socially unacceptable. The rise of disposable vapes has been ridiculously quick. There also isn't as much concrete knowledge on the harmful effects.
  7. The sentiments in the replies are approaching being as anti-EFL as we were during admin.
  8. Have to give Warne some credit where it's due - this is the best version of Max Bird we've ever seen.
  9. What constitutes "slating?", and what distinguishes that from suggesting that we could be run in a better way?
  10. While caving in to fan backlash is obviously wrong, sacking him after Saturday's game wouldn't have necessarily meant he was caving into fan pressure. The pressure is building because we've been crap, which is going to correlate with an increased likelihood of a sacking. I don't know if it's possible to tell whether a sacking is due to fan pressure or not tbh.
  11. While those points are all relevant, it definitely is the owner. What he's done is absolutely shameful.
  12. There's absolutely nothing wrong or inconsistent about being pro-stability whilst believing we need to sack a particular manager to move forward. They're not mutually exclusive concepts.
  13. I'm not one of the more vocal Warne Outers, but I would get rid, bring in a DoF or equivalent and hire an up and coming manager that plays progressive football.
  14. His wikipedia makes for very impressive reading, across a number of clubs too.
  15. Maybe my view has been coloured by the figure of fun he is to some of the kids on “football twitter”, who mock him for his speech and lack of trophies. But I also don’t think he’s had the levels of adoration and expectation that previous England players have had, like Beckham, Rooney, etc. That’s despite being one of the greatest ever performers in an England shirt. And he seems to be a lovely, quiet bloke to boot. I’d love it if he wins the lot with Bayern then comes back to Spurs to break Shearer’s record and win a trophy or two. And a World Cup would be bloody lovely too!
  16. One of the most under-appreciated players in my time being an England fan. He should be absolutely adored by this country.
  17. I like him, but I’ve never had the impression that Barker is particularly tactically insightful.
  18. Kodjia was the first that came to mind. That was in prime Mad Mel era. The Foriesteri rumours were quality as well. Seem to recall them starting straight after a loss.
  19. There must be some records on longest threads for players we didn't end up signing somewhere. @David?
  20. Christmas Eve = Half family, half pub Christmas Day = Family Boxing Day = Football if we're not on TV
  21. I know this is incredibly selfish but that's going to make Christmas Eve in the pub even better
  22. Nick De Marco being readied as we speak I'm sure.
  23. I find his face smug and annoying and I can't look past it.
