I didn't really have 'a team' until I was maybe 10-11 years old. My whole family were Derby so I had an interest, but I didn't really care for anyone team over another. It changed when my parents got season tickets and I started going on a weekly basis. I caught the bug and that was it, no going back and no chance of ever supporting anyone else.
If Derby folded then my love of football folds with it. I'll watch the odd game on the telly, I'll follow England in tournaments, but my love the game will be irreparably damaged. Like a smashed mirror, you can glue it back together but it aint the same.

Not gonna lie, I’d be dead in 6 months. 6 glorious months though. I have zero self control. 

Easiest way to make a small fortune in football is to start with a large one.

If my employer was in administration with an uncertain future and someone offered me a more lucrative and secure opportunity I'd certainly be taking it, and I suspect almost everyone on this forum would in the same position. Why should I hold Rooney to a higher standard than I hold myself?

Watch everyone beg for FFP to be reformed now, despite the fact they are all seemingly happy to watch us get ripped to bits over it. I hope the EFL get after Bristol and go as hard on them as they went on us, they are taking the piss.

I guess they have decided to sidestep that issue for now. Agree to pay rent on the ground and focus on binning off the more unquantifiable stuff with Wycombe and Boro.

EFL Announcement: Fit and Proper Persons Test

The EFL can today announce some temporary changes to the fit and proper persons test. It is now required that every prospective owner of an EFL club must have lived within 10 miles of the club they are attempting to purchase for no less than a period of ten years. This temporary measure is in place until July 31st, 2022.
