E-fuels are also being developed, this may be a good alternative to EVs’. No expensive battery replacement needed, to state the obvious.

Add to that the availability of charging capacity. Not too bad if you have a driveway and a home charge point, but even then you've got to work out your options for long journeys. So you plot a charging station, arrive there and it's already being used. Wait 30 minutes for a free charger and then wait another 30 minutes for yours to charge. Suddenly your journey has taken an hour longer, and you've eaten a whole packet of krispy kremes

This may seem like a silly question, but I presume you got rid of them?
I'll give you a fiver.
And my house.

Bustler also has a record fair on at the same time...
Annoyingly I've had tickets for the game since they came out but now can't make it as I have an MRI scan appointment come through for Saturday morning and I can't really cancel it. Some things are more important than some overpaid prats kicking a ball around 😞

My missus is taking our lad instead of me - no point him missing out!
The thing is that it's a small bowel MRI so you have to drink a litre of stuff that swells your gut for the scan and then an hour later you're urgently on and off the khazi for the rest of the day. I didn't fancy my chances with that at Pride Park even if the scan is finished in time.
All the cubicles are full of the stone island lads doing coke these days anyway 😂

we're on episode 4, but don't think I could binge it. Every 30 minute episode is mentally exhausting!

Oh yes I’ve had that !!! Lots of reading material required, just make yourself comfy for a few hours , no point in trying to go anywhere!
Our local hospitals are great though and the staff were brilliant when I had these scans so all the best

Too late for you now but they do seem to be doing more scans at the weekend these days. Not remotely on the same level but I had a CT scan a couple of weeks ago. At first I was offered Friday afternoon but I couldn’t make it that day. Next offer was Saturday but that was a no no due to Derby playing at home so, they offered me Sunday instead.
On a slightly separate note, a few years back I was taken in an ambulance to A&E at 7am on a Saturday morning with kidney stone problems. Anyone that’s had kidney stones (my sympathies) will know that often, it’s complete agony for a couple of hours but then sometimes it eases and you generally think you feel OK not long after. I felt OK by lunchtime but my wife (wisely) wouldn’t let me go to Derby. I know I should have been more B4 and just told her I was going but he never met my wife. 🤐

Yes that's what my wife said to me when i found out i couldn't go - didn't know they did them on Saturdays! But why did they need to change the k.o. time from 3pm , ridiculous , my shift doesn't finish till 3pm so i cant go! But if you need to get your money back from your ticket i would buy for my lad. All the best.

Tell you what's amazing- how Bird and Hourihane have got 5G/7A and 5G/8A, respectively, when Warne's tactic is ''not to use them''... Outstanding goal contribution stats for central midfielders; almost like you're just generalising since Bird particularly has also played some of his best football in a Derby shirt this season. Funny that. 🤔

Indeed - remember the much vaunted "Derby Way" that MM espoused? He said he would rather we play the entertaining "Derby Way" than grind out the type of sh*thousery 1-0 wins that we saw under Billy Davies.
Easy for him to say while he was bankrolling the club but in retrospect, makes you want to weep.

That wasn't the argument being made. The argument is that you pay to watch entertainment. You don't, you pay to watch competitive sport with no guarantees beyond that.

Pretty sure that when I saw him in the nordic tent on the Market Place at xmas he was playing Derby songs and getting a good singalong going (may have been a match day - I can't remember)

Is there anything to back this statement up?
Didn't we play great football under McClaren and Lampard and end up losing millions and millions of pounds every season, eventually leading to us being put under restrictions and nearly going bust. Not sure how that can be seen as growing as a football club?

The mini and the Fiat 500 maybe, but all those others look big to me. Probably just because generally cars seem to be trending towards the ugly big blocky thing, and no longer compact and sleek. Even hatchbacks seem designed to look like 4x4 these days
As I said - I'm not a fan of cars anyway 😂

Stive Pesley reacted to kash_a_ram_a_ding_dong in Electric Vehicles
There's loads out there,mini EV,fiat 500 EV,Mazda mx30,mg4,id3,cupra born....
All great small cars and reaching price parity new but especially 2nd hand with traditional ice cars.
The mg4,which is a superb car,is already cheaper new than a new ford focus or golf but is similar size and with a 7 year warranty against their paltry 3 years.
No brainer if you can charge at home (around 250 miles of range for £5 of electricity on the cheap tariff we have)

Correct. Until they figure out a net zero way to mine. Which is essential if bitcoin is to have a future. If nothing changes in terms of energy generation prices then after the next couple of halvings mining will likely stop as uneconomical
