Stive Pesley got a reaction from I know nuffin in The Administration Thread
It's true that she seems to exhibit passion for certain things when she wants to, but her record of voting is abysmal and doesn't reflect what she says. I don't actually think she has any interest at all in football, but she realises that Derby is a passionate football town and that way lies votes...

But there are a number of sources that support the line that he has given a PG and put cash collateral w MSD Neither would have been affected by administration
Seems likely he always wanted the deposit back, and that he agreed to Q’s appointment on the basis 202 would not file. Possibly the written agreement Q finally put in place with him re the stadium (referred to in a Dec statement by Q ) required him to transfer 202 against return of the deposit.
If that was indeed the deal he made with Q, then the goalposts have been moved because no one will pay enough to get him his deposit back - which might explain the difficulty in nailing down a deal now.
But I’m probably wrong

Maybe, but he's not paying the bills until next week and he's not liable for any of them due to the conditions of the exchanging of contracts. What he's managed to do, is prolong anyone else from coming to the table, whilst the money in the club runs out. It puts us in a really tight spot if Mel continues to play hardball.
The leverage, in this case, is that CK has isolated him as the only really viable option and has almost painted Mel (and others) into a corner.
We will know more next week, of course, by the actions the club takes. I'm still not 100% convinced we will be able to offer new contracts until the takeover is complete and I would imagine we will still be under EFL restrictions with regards to transfers. The running costs at the moment, essentially are the players wages at the end of the month. In all honesty, at which time, CK could walk away without paying a dime.

An arguably, even better Park Bench Plaque?

Has he? I said a couple of weeks back that my suspicion was that MM was running the clock down to the point where CK either had to walk away or start funding the club until the deal is complete. Now CK is paying the bills, that surely creates leverage for MM, not the other way around? It's either agree to MMs terms, or walk away and lose the money you're now spending on the club.

I apologize whole heartedly.
If my speculating that the Mel Morris follicles are in any way connected to his stewardship of DCFC caused any offence. It is obvious that it's not acceptable.
I will take a mod ban willingly. Please. For my own bloody sake as much as anything.

Tony Finn, 64, claimed he had been a victim of sexual harassment when his manufacturing firm colleague said he was a “bald c***”.
So if he had dropped the bald it would have been ok? ?

Lest we forget that those geniuses at Quantuma were claiming we'd be out of administration by the start of January2022 , and in November 2021 were already estimating their costs as £1.5 million plus expenses of £1.24 million including accommodation and travel costs of £55,000 and legal costs of £1.1 million
I hope they never work again

Stive Pesley got a reaction from jono in Building works - advice needed
So if we assume that the £900 quote became the £1000 materials (fair enough it may have cost them slightly more in materials than they envisaged, but where do the other £300 charges come into it?) This implies that the labour to knock off the old render was as much/took as long as the labour to put the new render on - is that about right?
What have they said about guarantees? In my experience, rendering can be a nightmare if not done well and start to crack, fall off etc.
How about you say you'll pay the extra labour if they sign a 10 year guarantee on the work. Their reaction to such a suggestion should tell you a lot
