It wasn't only Warne who thought he'd be a great signing

Our budget won’t be as small Rotherham though. I imagine we will have a bigger budget than a few teams. They didn’t. 
And generally the budget dictates League position, not the coach. I expect we’ll be lower mid table first season but people on here will be raging about it and want Warne gone.
 We’ve actually got to get to the champ first though!

Our budget will be absolute peanuts compared to the 6-7 clubs on parachute payments and the others that are more stable than us. Clowes is a hero, but he's not got top end Championship cash and that's the harsh reality of our situation. I'm not having a dig, it's just the way it is.

If even the most hardened anti-Warne fan still has a negative opinion about him and the culture he's building at the club after watching, I'm not sure what else we can do to help you.  I personally hope he oversees the next 5 years of our development.  Might even treat myself to a bobble hat!

True but promotion contenders/top 6 this season was imho the target - from 2 seasons into a 4 year deal.
As for the Championship we're looking at a couple of seasons to acclimatise and even then unless we get additional funding from elsewhere we're going to struggle to replicate the top 6s of the ill-fated MM era. 
But lets not worry about that yet, we've got 7 important games to go...

It says both sides created and missed 1 big chance each.
They had 2 shots off target, we had 4.
They had 1 blocked shot, we had 3.
Our xG for the game was 0.55 theirs was 0.43.
Both teams had 6 corners each.
Now, the big and most important stat, we scored a goal, they didn’t.
We know you don’t like/rate Warne, it’s possible for you to still have that stance and also admit the reality that he got a decent result against a promotion rival, all the evidence is there if you find just the tiniest bit of humility.
