I've watched it... If you're a gamer you'll probably enjoy the show, it captures the feel of the games and has loads of easter eggs. If you've never heard of Fallout, its still been getting good reviews and Season 1 sets up the world and story nicely for the future. I found it to be kinda 'meh' however - although I guess despite being a huge gamer I've never really enjoyed the Fallout/Bethesda games, so maybe its just me. Reading other reviews it does seem that I am in a minority. You can easily watch it in a couple of evenings though, which is a positive for me! So at least there isn't too much of a time investment - my missus wants me to watch Breaking Bad cos apparently its the 'best thing ever' but I see how many episodes there are and 'nah...'

Not so much about specific ads but the adverts they are now inserting into Netflix/Amazon Prime etc shows and movies (unless you pay extra to go ad free). If they must do that, at least put some unskippable adverts before the opening credits rather than mid movie - although I guess thats not irritating enough to squeeze more money out of people.

We haven't had a TV licence for over 2 years now... And get a bloody letter from them most months, threatening us with a maximum £1000 fine if we don't buy one, telling us they have opened investigations against us and asking whether we'll be in on [insert date]. As we've taken early retirement and are in most days, we know for a fact the buggers never come around! A while back we filled in a form saying we don't require a licence, which stopped the letters for approx 6 months before they started arriving again. Any other walk of life and it would be harassment. We know the rules and genuinely don't watch the BBC or live TV. If they did ever come around, I'm under no legal obligation to let them and and after hearing horror stories from people that have let them in probably won't despite the fact we have nothing to hide. Peterboro aren't out of it yet, they have 2 winnable games before they play Bolton on the final day - a draw would be nice there thanks! But we've got breathing space again now. 4pts from Cambridge/Carlisle should be the minimum.

Its utterly ridiculous. We've been crying out for stability for years, the moment we start actually doing well and potentially finishing in the automatic promotion positions for the first time in god knows how long, some fans are wanting PW sacked and are happy to take a punt on whoever - could be better, could be worse - may come in next. If it was them lot up the road, I'd be falling over laughing.

I remember listening to Pep Guardiola not long after he joined Man City explaining that it was his job to get the team up the pitch and into shooting positions - you rely on the players to do the rest. Two fairly insipid 0-0 draws against Northampton and Wycombe could potentially be the difference late in the season between finishing in the autos/playoffs but we created more than enough chances to comfortably win both. Waghorn blazing over the bar and CBT somehow managing to fall over the ball early in both games could have set us on the path to comfortable victories. Surely non other than the most ardent PW hater can surely say that those misses were anything other than individual errors. Whilst I'd agree it wasn't pretty and become more laborious the longer they went on, if our players had put their boots on the right feet we'd have won both games in the first half. Ah well, I think most people said 3/4 wins would probably be enough before Wycombe. Nothing has changed imo other than its now 3/3 wins (and yes I know technically we're relying on a topsy-turvy season continuing to be topsy-turvy for it to be enough.) COYR

True but promotion contenders/top 6 this season was imho the target - from 2 seasons into a 4 year deal. As for the Championship we're looking at a couple of seasons to acclimatise and even then unless we get additional funding from elsewhere we're going to struggle to replicate the top 6s of the ill-fated MM era. But lets not worry about that yet, we've got 7 important games to go...
