  1. People moaning about signing 33 year old Chester when the first signing they want is 37 year old Curtis Davies and were quite happy with 39 year old Phil Jaguelka?

People moaning about 31 year old Conor Hourihane because he’s too old?

Some people to wake up and smell the coffee. These would be great signings for any league one club.

Just because we’re having to bring in frees with experience doesn’t mean we can’t sign some good young loanees

I must not, that's the point! I'm one of those tedious f****** who mostly ignores Twitter rumours until proven. All we know for sure is that Byrne's contract has been extended and he's on the official retained list. The rest is just hearsay and gossip thus far. We've not even seen this list, for all that it proves ?‍♀️

The only question remains is whether the contract extension has been ratified by the EFL. I very much doubt it has until the takeover is complete and we can show proof we can actually pay the wages for that contract extension

What does the purchase of the club have to do with Byrnes contract extension.  His contrcat extension has already happened , he is on the retained list.

If we can’t offer a contract I doubt very much we can extend a contract……..until we’re bought or can prove we can pay for the additional funds required, and the EFL approve it ?‍♂️

you would be correct in saying our revenues are an advantage in league one yes, but we will also have debts to pay which will take a large chunk out of those revenues unless clowes is willing to wipe all debts but i cant see that happening unforuntaely.

we still owe a lot of money to football creditors which will have to go out of accounts so anybody expecting us to start spending any amount of money on transfer fees will probably be mistaken.

I thought to exit admin you had to pay football creditors 100%. So what further debt are you on about?

I've heard (same source who suggested the pink kit tip a couple of years ago) that Derby's new change kit is in a colour called 'potion'

A Google search for "Umbro Potion" comes up with a few images, including the attached 'Purple Potion' shirt from Brentford's training range last year.

He's the one who said the home shirt looked like 'a paint brush had been cleaned on it' - would that tie in with that sleeve detail?

I wonder whether B4 classes this as pink or not?

  6. I can’t see bringing some journeyman Manager, who will just look to bring in the players he’s worked with before and likes, plus costs loads of money be beneficial at this time. What if they struggle early on? We gonna sack them when they’re on a lucrative contract?

Liam deserves his chance and knows the targets and how the club runs. He won’t be  costing a load either.

Might as well shut it if the premiership clubs are allowed to walk in  and take who they want for next to nothing - sure have one in the premiership but I struggle to see the value against the cost in the past ten years

    Totally agree mate
