  1. Great performance from Kelle, tonight, he has all the quality's to be a top keeper, he just needs to believe in himself, and tonight should have done his confidence a world of good, he was even coming for crosses tonight and winning it everytime, well done tonight Roos, u got the Rams a very hard fought point, man of the match for me tonight.

  2. Just got back in, wow my voice has gone, what great vocal support from the away end, and what a team effort to keep it at 0-0, a great point, we never gave up to night, a point deffo gained tonight, 3 points now on saturday.

Great to be in the away end tonight, will deffo be making the trip to Sheffield United, the supporters, players and coaches all are in this together, and we are staying up. Once A Ram Always A Ram.

Disgracefully, the M&S at Coventry station doesn’t sell Carling. I’ve gone for something that might please and disgust @Eddie in equal measure.

I recognize this doesn't address the OP which is about defence, though for me the biggest defensive issue is the crazy way we always try to play "risk and reward" and then, once we've taken the risk and broken our opponent's line, we don't even bother trying to claim the reward but instead turn backwards and start taking risks again. But that's partly because we don't have enough attacking players to hit. What we need if we're going to survive this season is to have much more of an attacking threat, and play to the strengths of our attacking players. And for that I would take 4-3-3 every time:

    Roos

    Byrne     Jagielka     Davies     Buchanan

    Ravel

    Sibley     Knight

    Jozwiak    Stretton    Lawrence

Subs: Allsopp Stearman Forsyth Bird Watson Shinnie Baldock

with Bielik coming into Ravel's place once fit and Ravel moved further forward.

Don't think Forsyth will be on the bench mate, he is suspended still. Will miss him as well, as WBA like to pump the ball into the box.

  5. Best signings in rhe Morris reign.

Would be Vydra, Curtis Davis, both Rowett signings, Tom Ince was a exciting player and we made money on him. Also having Mount and Tomri on loan was a pleasure seeing 2 top young players, always knew these 2 would go on to better things, for me Mount will be one of Englands best players for the next 8 years at least.

  6. Well guys and girls. A tough looking away trip to the Albion, but in this very average championship anything can happen, they onlly managed a draw with Millwall on saturday, so i am hoping for my first away trip off the seasin we some how manage a win, hope all us Rams Fans are bouncing at the end of the game, i am going for a 1-0, smash and grab.

  7. Will never be part of the Mels fan club, he has made far to many bad decisions, will not go over them again, as i have been banging this drum to long, i love DCFC, and all i want is some new owners to support our manager and get this great club back off its knees, and start having postive press again, and lets start talking about on field matters again, fed up with all the off field stuff now. Once A Ram Always A Ram, are you listening Mel.

    On Mel Morris:

When he sold Candy Crush in 2015, he became immensely cash rich as per the above. Whilst I do believe he has lost an uncomfortable amount of personal fortune in owning Derby County, in which time he has looked to spend above the means of the competition rules of his own volition. It would still make him an immensely rich person, who has absolutely no excuse for running the club as badly as he currently is.

What I would say to him, given half the chance, is clean up your own mess. The cutting of corners is doing nothing but to agitate fans and to downtools as significantly as he has, i.e. not pay the HMRC or other clubs, not to mention the fiasco with the ticket office, is absolutely inexcusable.

If he can get the club stable again, which isn't going to cost the world, and away from the 'crisis club' narrative then it will become a lot more attractive to potential buyers - real potential buyers and not blokes who know how to steal videos from TikTok or look fancy in a big white robe.

Great post, i agree with everything u said, Mr Morris needs to sort the mess out he has caused ASAP, then he can sell the club with his head held high, otherwise he will go down as the fan who destroyed the club he loved.

  9. Its a shame he is banned for 3 games, been very good at left back. and will be missed, but a great chance for Buchanan to now have 3 games on the run, and show us all, what we all know he is capable off.

  10. Been in the home ends a few times, Villa away, when we win 2-1, Deano and Goddard scoring if i remember right, Manu away when we lost 4-1 and steve Howard scored, i jumped up and got loads.of dogs abuse, from a women with a cockney accent lol, Hull away when we lost 2-1, we equalised i jumped up and the locals went mad pointing at me to get me thrown out but it all calmed down and when they got there winner they was all asking me the score lol, but all in all i never felt in to much danger.

  11. I agree B4, when we are watching our super Rams, like we have done so far, to get behind the team 100 percent, since we have been back playing in front of crowds the atmosphere has been excellent long may that continue

I have my own opinions on Mel, but when i go to the games i go to support DCFC, and never chant any negative stuff.

  12. Good to be back posting again

My thoughts of Wayne is nothing but praise, bringing in good experience pros, to mix it up the the youth, was so important, having no money, but for me with want he has at his disposal he is doing a great job, also love the way we are trying to play, so many positives, around the squad and coaching staff.

Just need a takeover now, and to come out of the embargo, to give Wayne the help he and the coaches and playing staff deserve.

  13. Agree we should go to the game to support the team and Manager, because the problems at Derby are not down to them, the sooner we are sold the better for everyone including Mel. Will not boo Mel, as all my energy will be supporting the team, but i will not support Mel, for what he has done, but No booing or calling for his head, i am there to support Derby County, as i have done for 40 odd years or more. Once A Ram Always A Ram.
