And only cost Cheltenham £20k last January window...when we we're faffing about with Springett and White who did barely nothing for us and are no longer at the club.

Great to have equalised but Warne does not deserve this - his failings costs us again today.

The point has ways been that criticising the decisions is fair, criticising the man and using insulting terms is not.
That said, I think you could count the number of insulting and inappropriate comments on one Forest fan's hand, but frustratingly those who want Warne gone sometimes  end up being auto-associated with the idiotic comments.

This debate is going to get tedious and boring. Will I always be grateful for saving our club - of course I am. However - how long will this be the rhetoric - 1 more year, 2 more years, 5 more years? As soon as someone criticises his decision to remain with the manager - is this always going to be pulled out? Are you going to pick up on this and say the same thing every time someone says that Stephen Pearce should not be in the club anymore because that is what you're saying.
Personally - I can keep the two things sperate, but you appear to struggle with that concept. I can keep the club being saved different to a decision in the present whereby he has decided to remain with our manager who quite clearly, every poll I see has 60-70% of people wanting him gone for some very clear footballing reasons. Am I not allowed to have that viewpoint?
My wife is disappointed with me that I keep going to Derby games. She can split that view against is she disappointed with me overall? No she isn't. (Well at least I hope not!!!). You can have different opinions on different topics.

Don't be condescending, especially when you are ignoring the point I was making.
Keeping a manager that is taking the club backwards isn't stability, it's embarking upon a managed decline.
If Warne was meeting the expectations set out by the club, and the expectations he set out for himself when he joined the club the calls for stability and patience would make sense. He is currently failing on both counts.

    Yes and no.
You can make it easier for the player tactically. If hoofing is the easiest option and you don't want that then you can tactically set up the team and coach the team that their is a different default. And you play them where their current capabilities lay.
Hourihane has never looked the absolutely most comfortable playing the deepest midfield role. He's too peripheral, hasn't got the best tactical awareness and is only ok under serious pressure with the ball.
He's not got the legs for serious midfield running anymore but he can still be a difference maker in final 3rd, so... use him as that and don't expect from him what he can't do.

I get that as well. I think he has totally underestimated the actual size of the club and the position it was/still in and the structure and footballing philosophy we have played to for near around the last 10 years. It's hard to write that without looking big headed but that's what we are and it's weird that it seems he's quite shameful of that. His defeated attitude towards winning back the fans in the interview this afternoon just shows that he's not totally invested in the football club.
He's painted in a good light that he's open in interviews but i see him as very very suffocating, inflexible and stubborn. At a time like this I bet his insistence on chatting on whatsapp and needing to be in the personal lives of players especially let's say tomorrow after this afternoons performance must really rub the wrong way on certain players.
Another aspect that stuck with me was an Rams Tv interview he did in spain after we sold Knight when he said along the lines of 'player's on the last year of their contract are not going to be committed performance wise'. Most of our squad is out of contract in the summer? I feel he sounded his own death knell with these players.

I genuinely think he is actually quite passive aggressive at times and has took multiple jabs at the club, how it's set up and towards the fans. A lot of it was missed, seen as a joke, early in the season or we won the next game so it's forgotten.
He has said things early in the season that made me think he was reading fans comments and was letting them get to him too.
I can't imagine that passive aggression goes down well with players especially ones who feel they are more technically adept than the average Rotherham player Warne was signing. And probably even worse if he is Whatsapping them too lol

I agree he has probably underestimated alot of things at the club. Probably thought he could mold a club just coming out of a devastating period in his own image and we would be Rotherham but with money 🤣
Good spot on that interview in Spain, as I remember he said a few weird things while over there, but the general positivity of a new season had people not really looking Into his words

Did anyone else feel that Warne has made a few comments about the club being too big. At the time they were taken as jokes and in the context of cutting away the excess fat. Making us less bloated and more lean. I always got the feeling the size of the club annoyed him, especially when he would lightly moan about DCFC loving meetings, having lots of department heads, too many staff to remember the name of etc.
Does that point to a deeper feeling that he just wishes we were Rotherham with more money and the fans ambitions of one day having a thriving and big club, back in the Prem are silly and egotistical to him??

What a flat situation we find ourselves in. There's been a few times in Warne's early interviews when he's used quite negative language about what he hoped he could achieve, and i remember thinking it didn't seem right but hoped i was being too cynical.
Unfortunately now there's a disconnect between the management and the players with the fans. When a player is motioning towards the fans after scoring, you know it's not good. No they shouldn't expect abuse, however, they get paid a handsome amount to ignore immature chants, sticking it to other hard working fans who didn't partake in said chanting is abysmal to me, and this needs fixing quick.

Ipswich recognized it just wasn’t working under Paul Cook - a manager with a decent reputation and who many thought would get Ipswich going. It just never worked out for him there.
Paul Warne isn’t a bad manager. But what he is trying here just won’t work. The fans won’t accept it. Technical footballers won’t accept it. We have to get rid and bring in a manager who will look at our better players and play to their strengths.
Getting rid of Liam Rosenior was an awful lack of judgement.
Keeping Warne would be even worse.

It really is the last-chance saloon for him. Warne's post-match interviews continue to be incoherent, bordering on the bizarre and his interpretation of matches doesn't match up with reality. We've barely played well for 90 minutes this season, which is a really sizeable problem but the bigger problem is that the bloke can't seem to see it. He thinks this is good, which is precisely why nothing is changing.

Imagine if one (or even two) of those late penalty area scrambles had been poked home? A lot of us would have been feeling a whole lot better  (we all know good it feels to get a point or three as a result of late goals) but it would have just papered over another dismal performance.

Collins looks piss poor because he’s being asked to just run around chasing lost causes and trying to get on the end of crap service. He’s not the best striker in the division but with the supporting acts we’ve got he should be a solid contributor.

Let’s say Mac came in. He’d have the team actually passing to each other and moving in a way that creates openings. He’d probably start Waghorn because Waghorn is better at bringing others into play than Collins but Mac managed to get Sammon on the score sheet for some important goals and found a role for him late on in games…
