Not understanding the whole hatred towards the players?
It's the clubs that have furloughed staff, not the players.
Did the clubs consult with players first to see if they would take pay cuts before furloughing staff?
Are the clubs making up the 20% shortfall to the staff wages?
Should the Government have caveated the scheme by making profit making companies pay back any money claimed through the scheme?
Why have footballers been attacked? Why not other well paid sports stars?  Why not pop stars? CEOs? Bankers?
If football clubs go bust because players have refused to take pay cuts then I can understand a backlash.
Let's not forget as well as earning more in one week than most of us earn in a year, the same will go for their tax bill!

Go for it. I'm more or less in the exact same position as you and I'm off to see her tomorrow. Taking her some shopping, she's letting me in back gate, sit in garden 2m or more apart no physical contact, give her someone to talk to face to face, do her more good than harm. Just got to be sensible and balance things up. Go and see her mate.

This is the @G STAR RAM view. Sceptical about the potential of the virus to kill people who wouldn’t have died anyway, for the very same reasons given. But there is no mystery. The stats on death rates are available. However, because it hasn’t really hit us yet, it’s too early for covid19 to be significantly effecting the numbers. But they will. And to suggest that’s it’s all been exaggerated and an over reaction is an irresponsible argument to peddle at this time.
In 2019 from the beginning of March, the weekly recorded deaths in the uk were:
    11,044  10,898  10,567  10,402  9,867
the rate declines as we head into spring.
This year, we only have the stats for the first two weeks of March, when the numbers dying of Coronavirus were in the hundreds.
    10,895. 11,019
    the rate has increased
when we start to get over 1000 or 2000 deaths a week, then the numbers will be clear for everyone to see.
It is true to say that the estimated mortality rate of the disease will vary dependent upon the numbers tested, and the numbers testing positive, but in Wuhan they tested extensively and revisited their calcs, they still concluded that this virus was 14x as deadly as flu.
Previously healthy people will be killed by this disease. Please do not be tempted to fall into the trap of thinking it’s just a big over reaction.

Do you still not see it?
Do you still not get what Cocu is building? And how he's doing it?
Every match thread, it's a race to see who can whinge about the team selection first.
Tonight was no different.... "How are we going to beat the fifth best team in the country without Davies in central defence and Malone amongst the substitutes?"
The youngsters were brilliant tonight and will learn so much from their experience.
Some people just like to complain. I get that. But Cocu is establishing a real foundation here, he's looking long term. He will build a successful Derby County team and sustain that, over years, by using the academy to its fullest.
Do you not want to embrace that?
Do you not want to ride the wave of the next golden period in this great club's glorious history?
Don't miss out. Support Cocu. Support the kids. Support the team. Support the club.

From what I've heard and seen from the academy Festy Ebosele has been mightily impressive at RB, perhaps we could just promote him if we sold Bogle?

Bristol city we're a bit lucky to win that weren't they ? As daft as it sounds the only thing they did well was there goals and then shut up shop.
Our performance was ok , passed the ball well , especially on midfield . Bird was fantastic yet again .

So pleased to be wrong what a player he's turning into .

It's impossible not to. As far as I'm aware, @RiddingsRam wasn't slating him and calling him crap. It's natural to form an opinion after watching a player, but it doesn't mean that the opinion has to stay the same.
If we can't judge a young player after a few games, does that mean we can't say he's amazing if he scores a hat-trick in every game?

For what it's worth my thoughts on last night ! All the positive little glimpses of things we've seen in various games this season seem to all come together last night . Good in possession from the back , didn't panic , even with Bob from row T's intellectual input of "forward" and "quicker" . Constructive Bob 👍. Our forwards play was narrow (in a positive way ) US Ng Martin as the pivot . And our midfield , best blend we've had in midfield since the Hughes , Throne , Bryson combo .
Hamer - we've stopped talking about needing a goalkeeper , got to be a positive.
Bogle - Looked so much better tonight , I love his inverted runs and the havoc it causes . Plus the obvious of his goal he'd only been playing as a winger for a minute and he produces that
Clarke and Wisdom - a strong partnership forming here and it was great to hear Clarke speaking so highly of him after our last home game .
Fozzy - or was it Marcelo ? Brilliant performance tonight from one of my usual whipping boys .
Bird- Spoke about him on another thread but this season hes looking the real deal and more than ready for the step up , love his forward thinking passing too .
Rooney- Pure class , what more can I say , were so lucky to have him here , best January window signing ever .
Holmes - Fast becoming my favourite Derby player was easily the man of the match again his driving runs and movement are paramount to what we are trying to achieve
Lawrence- that's what Lawrence can do now let's see it on a regular basis up there with one of the most naturally talented players in this league on his day.
Waghorn- so much better on the right and I think that needs to be his main position going forward
Martin- no stopping that shot and his overall play was fantastic , blowing out of his arse though towards the end and good to see . Quality 👌
