I think that is a superb eloquent succinct post, that superbly describes a lot of my feelings too.
    Thank you

Sportscene  was back on Radio Derby tonight but no sign, or mention of, Chris Coles or Ed Dawes (I expect his wife’s name is Erin).
The Daily Mail has reported that some BBC big wig has been despatched to Radio Derby to investigate the whole incident, including the deletion of the offending words from the subsequent podcast. I suspect CC/ED may have been suspended. I hope they do not lose their jobs- I accept that Ramage should have been challenged by one or both of them at the time but I fear this may turn into a witch hunt
Apologies for the Erin Dawes bit, I couldn’t resist .

    Yes well put.
I've thought for a while, that at some point Ramage would go too far and upset someone at RD or DCFC. It's kind of been building up. Craig Ramage isn't everyones cup of tea and was prone to on air gaffe's, but he is a passionate Derby supporter and wasn't afraid of speaking his mind. I guess that was the reason he was the regular pundit, he stirred up a bit of controversy, and radio stations need listeners. Anyhow he was never going to survive this, and he will be kicking himself for the bizarre and unacceptable comment that he made.
Regarding posters who have suggested that Dawes and Chris Coles should be sacked. Well, that sounds a bit harsh. As far as I am aware, neither were complicit in the regrettable event.

I gave up trying to get a concession ticket on the website but came back to it the next day, rather than pay the premium rate phone line prices whilst on hold . If I recall, you choose the adult option and only then a drop down box gives you other options. Very confusing, the club never seem to get the website quite right although it is a lot better than it used to be

They were going to announce it in a press conference last week but couldn't get the Mike Te Wierek.

''Terrible'' haha. He's made a few mistakes, he's not been terrible at all. People blame Mel for the signings, and I don't understand why. He's never failed to back a manager with money to spend. He's made some bad managerial appointments, but most of that was a few years ago now. We haven't been proven to be guilty of breaching FFP, what else has he done that is terrible? I think you're just thriving off the negativity, as per usual for you.

To be fair to the bloke he may have made mistakes  but he cares, a lot. The mistakes he's made, he's paid with his own money.
If one day you get the chance to go and visit the training ground you can see ,he's spent a fair whack there  for the good of the club.  The list of cr@p owners who simply do not care about club and fans is just too long to put on here, he certainly isn't in that category.  Chill, let's see how it pans out.

I’ve seen more than one reference on other sites to Jack Marriott’s “off the field antics”. I know there are rumours about lack of effort in training but I’ve not heard of anything else. Certainly there has to be something besides injuries for two successive managers largely to ignore the squad’s only natural goal scorer. Does anyone know more about these alleged antics and, if they can enlighten us, will it get past the mods?
I can see things culminating in Marriott being shipped out . If so , it’s like the man who threw a boomerang at a ghost - it came back to haunt him

I didn’t contradict myself . I said I had seen references to off the field antics on other sites. Mention of antics was all they were. No details were given and I have personally heard no such rumours so my post was asking if anyone could enlighten me. I am not sure how that makes my post drivel.

This fanbase is a mess at the minute. No idea what it wants.
You've got some fans criticising the manager and calling for him to bring in youth players constantly. The amount of crap I've seen on Twitter recently begging for Sibley to start. Reacting with crying emojis when he's not in the team. He's a kid ffs.
And then what happens when he does play three academy players in the starting XI? You boo them off. You boo them off at half-time. You boo them off for keeping the ball. You boo them off at the end.
Some of us need to have a look at ourselves. We are the problem, at times.

I pray he's going to be a Martin Taylor, for those old enough MT cost us a goal in every game he played when covering for Shilts, then he became utterly awesome.

How long has he already had? He’s 27? Not 21! He’s never been good in the air or commanded his box, he’s only ever been a ‘ball playing’ shot stopper (at best).

Arsene Titman reacted to cheron85 in Why are Derby County getting hammered on this forum
I think people have short memories - The Three Amigos ran us into the ground financially and (although I don't know exactly what happened) legal charges and prison sentences happened for at least one of them - Lionel Pickering was a legend but bankrupted himself funding us in a totally unsustainable way including the signings of millions of pounds worth of bang average footballers - Robert Maxwell was... Do I even need to continue that one?
We had a very shrewd group of American businessmen running us for a while - But were going essentially nowhere very fast with them in charge as they didn't want to put any more money in
Mel might have made some mistakes but so has every owner we've ever had - At least his heart seems to be in the right place and he's been prepared to try and speculate to get us promoted - I think he's done as many positive things as negative things over his time both for the club and the league in general - It frustrates me when people only ever focus on the negative

This is my original scarf , bought for me by my girlfriend at the time if my memory serves me correctly. I am pretty sure it came from the Brian Clough era before the DCFC marketing team got to work on the logo.My guess is it would be 1968 or 1969

In my eyes, we have recurring problems in the team:
    - Roos is a liability
    - We are vulnerable at free kicks and corners
    - Our passing and control is sub standard and I do wonder if the current crop of players are capable of implementing what Cocu asks of them.

Some people in that area might have used “of” instead of “have”, which makes you wonder where they were when basic English language was being taught in school. I don’t agree that drawing attention to the use of “of” , where the word should be “have”, is pernickety. No one (except the likes of Jacob Rees-Mogg) would expect grammatical perfection but there is a limit - “ of” instead of “have” is just so wrong .

A decent player and better than any wide player we have. If he's the best option available in this window and it improves the starting eleven then I'm ok with that. The fact that he's played for that ragbag of a team down the road doesn't make a scrap of difference to me.
