I have no gripe with Mel, obviously things haven't gone to plan and this last 2 seasons it has fallen apart. Who is to say any other owner would have faired any better in his tenure. We've certainly had a few good seasons with him at the helm and a lot of upheaval ,skulduggery , managers along the way.
I have no reason to believe Mel had didn't havethe best intrest of the club and for the most of his tenure poured significant personnel funds to pursue success .We can all criticse ,bad signings bad managers in hindsight but most on hear were raving Rooneys arrival as a player ,Rooney as Manager. And I  Can't remember many moaning about any of the numerous players being bought during the last 5 years. Were a fickle lot but Mel is a ram ,he did his best didn't work out but I take my hat off to him for having a go.

Not a bad player but has failed to live up to the ‘big signing’ tag bestowed on him which isn’t his fault really. If he was a free transfer or minimal fee we would probably all be a bit happier with him... wouldn’t be sad to see him go but then I don’t think there’s a single player at the minute I would be.

Thought he was brilliant today. Took up great positions, made theatening runs, took people on, fast direct passing. Did a real shift in defence, too, and saved us a goal. And while others jogged about and scowled at each other and looked like they thought they were too good to have to try, and hard-done-by by the universe, he played like a pro.
You can say 'yeah he does all that but no end product'. But come on: if the likes of Lawrence and Waghorn (and even CKR) did their main jobs as well as he did his, we'd have won today. You can't blame him for not doing _everything_ when some others don't seem to be doing _anything_

These chancers-cum-footballers/managers/coaches should already be relegated. Wednesday in footballing terms at least should be coming to PP with 46 points to our 43 with a slightly better GD. We'd then need to be beating them to survive at best on GD. After today I can't even support them any longer as a group of players/staff for the shambles being served up weekly - I hope somehow we scrape over the line next week for the sake of the club itself, not to save the bacon of those responsible for putting us in this mess in the first place. Owner, manager, coaches and player...the lot all need their P45's served at 2:15pm next Saturday.
I think Mel is probably rabbit-in-the-headlights himself now, typically never afraid to make a decision (and seemingly, with reflection, almost always made the wrong ones at critical junctures) but when he needs to put his notorious trigger finger into action, he bottles the one sacking he should have made. You really couldn't write it.

The definition of stupidity is to keep repeating something which doesn't work in the hop that a different result will come from it.
So having proved all season, and for several seasons in a row that we can't defend a 1 - 0 lead, what do we do? We defend a 1 - 0 lead! And we discovered that when the opposition make a tactical change, if we do nothing about it then they will gain an advantage for making that change. So another fruitless cause to keep chasing after, and we did it again today.
And it took until the 80th minute to bring on the player who should have started to replace the one who shouldn't have started. Someone said that Sibley hasn't produced anything when he has been on the pitch, but the reality is that he has hardly been on the pitch, and more often than not only comes on to the pitch when there isn't enough time to get up to speed, let alone make any difference. We also had Jason Knight in the DM role, and until the last few minutes all he did was pass sideways and backwards. Is that all they train them to do at the training ground? And with less than a minute to go we take nearly 50 seconds to take a throw, allowing Swansea to organise their defence when a quick, instantly taken throw-in could have caught them on the hop. Oh, and the one player who was up for it got taken off. leaving us with a 11 players who couldn't care less. Great tactics.
We deserve to be relegated, but unfortunately in League 1 there will be more of the Rotherham style "battering ram" style of football which we cannot cope with. Oh boy, does our future look good?
And these "couldn't give a flying fig" players are being paid (ie not earning) a huge fortune to be not bothered. So Mel, rather than pay all the players for their contributions this month, how about divvying the wage bill up and paying it to all the season ticket holders as an apology for breaching the trades description act with the product you are serving up?

One thing really winds me up to apoplexy and that's fly-tipping!
Lazy b*****s just dumping stuff anywhere they like and getting away with it. When caught they should be given community service on the local landfill for a month.
What really blew my corks this week was what happened in Devon.
A woman saw 2 fly tippers in her lane. Rashly video'd them and yelled at them. Luckily they didn't attack her, a few locals showed up and the police were called, these low lifes started to put some rubbish back on their truck.
Despite all the video and witnesses the police declined to prosecute as " no officers actually saw the alleged offence"!!
So message is dump away and as long as no copper sees you there's no problem
