Connor Washington came across really, really well in his interview. Smart, sensible comments and came across as a bit brighter than the average footballer. Seemed to talk, albeit briefly, about aspects of the game that PW just doesn't but perhaps that's just a style thing - i.e. PW says it in a more... layman's fashion whereas I think as fans, we actually want to understand more about the tactical side in detail.
Anyway, CW - gone up in my estimation.
Collins however - missed some sitters.

I’m not precious about us being in this league for another couple of seasons. I could live with that if the football was decent and progressive, but it isn’t. It’s absolutely awful, the same thing week in week out. I want to be entertained, to watch creative exciting football, but instead I have to endure Warne’s repetitive hoofball at places like Stevenage where I spent my hard earned yet again to watch the same failings. The mate I was there with was at Shrewsbury the week before watching the same thing again. He’s going through a divorce and money is tight but he goes to matches for a bit of a break from the strain of it all. My dad has terminal cancer and like my friend watching the Rams is a break from the strain of that. This is the point I think some of Warne’s adherents fail to see; football is meant to be entertaining, but Warne’s football philosophy is sucking the life out of the club and turning a lot of Rams fans away. In an era where the cost of living dictates what people spend their money on, the club have to be careful that the unconditional backing of Warne doesn’t cost them revenue that will be badly needed at this level of football going forward.

I have no idea why Schteve is being mentioned. He is so far out of our league, financially, that it shows how delusional some of our fans are. Ex-England Manager, currently at Man U prob earning £800k pa - honestly, are you lot real?

I'm sure this isn't universally the case but if you don't go to the games (thus far this season, this includes me) then perhaps you are less frustrated because you see the results and highlights - both of which are (almost) acceptable.
Whereas when I went to the games last season, I was as angry as many of you lot because the football just seemed so... brainless. For me, the standout managers who had good, solid, sensible games plans (formations, tactics, plays) were TBE, Schteve and Burley all of whom had reasonable success. WeeBilly also had a very clear game plan and success but I really, really don't like the man so I'll leave him out of that list (I'm sure most of you will agree). It pains me to watch 90+ mins of football which seems largely driven by hope/statistical analysis rather than proper patterns of play.
When PW talks, sometimes it feels like he knows what he wants - my fear is that even if that's where we ultimately get, it's probably not going to be what we want to watch.
Having said that, Our Saviour Lord DC isn't daft. He sees what we see (I suspect) but applying business logic to it, even if he doesn't like PW's methods, if we get the results then he'll persevere. DC doesn't strike me as the 'shoot from the hip' type. He's a sensible, steady guy who's used to long term projects so I'd say PW is here for a good while yet. However, I suspect what will make him change Manager is poor results and reduced attendances - hard data points basically.

I mean that's a bit of a different question isn't it. Robbie Savage is a prime example of someone who in skill terms wouldn't have looked that much better than a good semi-pro player on their day but had a great career whereas Adel Tarabt had much more talent but nowhere near as good a career. Sibley i think needs some minutes in his best position, needs some confidence and some love. I'm not saying he'll then go on and have a sparkling career but he's had a difficult time in the past few years which is in part due to lack of time and being played out of position.

Warne is anti football I hear ,,, then I hear get warnock in 😂
next it’s anybody with a previous derby connection whether they are have managed a club or not or have managed but not achieved anything yet ,
then it’s any young ambitious manager who can grow with the club ( Paul warne not young ambitious manager clowes hopes can grow with the club having 3 promotions from this division under his belt already 🤷🏻‍♂️)
I feel warne is under a bit of pressure and in my view struggling a little to adjust to a bigger club with different pressure s but ffs be careful what you wish for , to get rid now and take a punt on unproven instead could be an absolute disaster for the club and do real damage , of course it may work but people calling for are wrongly certain it will all turn out fairytale happy endings , sorry folks but that’s rarely the case in football ,
also do any of us know if he is doing well building a feeling and good atmosphere inside the club , maybe clowes sees other stuff going on that make the present not disastrous but not fantastic results on the field just part of what he’s trying to build into the club 🤷🏻‍♂️

Given some of our relatively recent experiences in the playoffs, I'll take second all day thanks. The playoffs is the best way to go up for sure, but it's also the worst way to stay down.
Just for once I'd like Derby to not put me through the wringer. Is that too much to ask?
