I will give Warne time before I call him out as a coach whose teams don't play attractive football. He made the best of what he had at Rotherham so assume he decided that style was his best option for success. No reason why he won't advocate attractive attacking football at Derby with the resources he has. DC has clearly had this on the burners for a while hence the speed it moved from rumour to announcement.
In many ways I like this feeling of clearing the decks, LR was a great guy and actually did well IMHO building this squad and getting us into a decent league position. But this now draws a line fully under the Morris catastrophe and moves us on from the Cocu, Rooney, LR styles.

Difficult to second guess this one..LR might have pushed for the decision on permanent, DC might have decided after analyzing the set-up that he wanted a new manager. Who knows..

They were playing deeper and deeper as we took control..if that continues we will win this we just need that break.
Roberts the standout for me on the left although Barks was good too. Hourihane and Bird better as they were getting forward.
As bad as we were first 20 I thought we were very good after that.

He is a threat on the wing..can't see any reason to move him to a less favourable position when he can score and create for others from his preferred position.

Didz great turn mugged his marker but weak shot that needed curling sweepers to reach the keeper..

We sort of played a back 3 all game really when we had the ball..
