1 win in 9 at home. That’s frankly shocking for a club with goals we have. 

Frankly the bloke is clueless.  Clowes should act decisively. I would use what remains in our transfer budget to pay him off.

Even him saying Oxford have a better team than us is on him, he’s signed 8 players this window and our wage bill will be double Oxford’s - he’s just not helping himself. Bloke is a clown.

We've put our focus on signing players who, paraphrasing his words, you wouldn't expect to playing in League One because they're capable of better than that... and Oxford who finished NINETEENTH last season have a better team than us? After we've recruited players with a budget which the chairman thinks is good enough for promotion?

..that said I'm basing this entirely on things I haven't heard so I realise I will look a d******* if that isn't what's actually been said.
 

I wanted him gone at the end of last season when we failed spectacularly from a comfy position to maintain play offs. 
 
I regrouped and said let’s see what he looks like when he’s had a say in who we sign. We’ve gone backwards. 
 
Honestly where do you see this going? Any decent young player who knows his way around a football sold and replaced by athletes? 

I’ll eat humble pie in the event that I’m proved tragically wrong and he turns this around but Jesus I love Derby and his football makes me want to scratch my eyes out. 
 
We need to be aiming to be a squad (predominantly when funds allow) of younger players who are all comfortable in the ball with a coach that improves the players so we can sell and reinvest alongside integrating good academy prospects. Instead we’ve got a coach who signs players based on how likely they are to beat Darren Moore for a header. 

I thought he should’ve gone when we failed to make the playoffs. However, was willing to give him a pre season to sign some players, and see how we started. 
 
We’re way, way worse than we were before. There is absolutely no excuses now. He’s prioritised defenders that are making mistakes left right and centre, leaving us with nothing to sign attacking players. Playing a system that doesn’t work for any of the players we currently have and is making them look way worse than they collectively are.
It’s not working at all. Enough is enough for me.

Pretty sure DC, PW and numerous players have said promotion is the aim this season so not unexpected for fans to have this as the base line.  
 
Agree 2 matches is too early to get the knives out. However, a poor end to last season, poor recruitment in the final third and up to now a poor start to the season isn’t looking good. 
 
A win tomorrow will definitely ease any tension but likewise another defeat will see the heat turned up again.
DC might give PW the season regardless but if it looks like we’re midtable at best then attendences will drop as well as general interest.

Bird just doesn’t do enough. Not strong enough in the tackle to be a CDM, not got the engine to be box to box, not quick enough of thought or progressive enough with his passing to play more advanced. I don’t see what we’d lose if he wasn’t in the team. I’d happily revamp the whole midfield. We need energy and creativity and we don’t have anywhere near enough currently. 

It was a diversion from his own poor tactics, pre-season, recruitment and team selection.  
If I was Bird I'd be in his office in the morning demanding an apology.

Regardless of whether you think Warne's on borrowed time or not, that post-match interview was just bizarre.
I would expect better from someone who calls themselves a 'relationship manager'.

This is where Warne's personality does not help. He has no filter so throws out random thoughts he's best to keep to himself or the management team.

I've been hung out to dry by managers at work previously and it ends up with  you looking to move and stick 2 fingers up at them.
If I were Clowes I would be having words.
Don't forget that we are a big club in a small pool. Warne hasn't had to deal with tough times before (at a big club). Rotherham were always tin pot.

That interview to me SCREAMS he's feeling the pressure. Now let's see if he can handle it. Very uncharacteristically poor interview from him and has chucked some of his players under the bus.

The players we are linked with and bought I could have done the recruitment for. This guy we bought in was meant to be a guy to unearth gems and scour the Irish league. We’ve gone back to derby from Morris under rowett where we are being linked with the old people’s home.

We need a right footed 8/10 in to play alongside Hourihane and put Bird back into the 6 and we will be a lot better. It’s only the second game of the season I think you have to give a season 5/6 games before you can really see what we’re going to be like.
 
Plymouth and Burnley both had bad starts to the season last year and they both ended up not doing to bad. We have lots of new players and more to come, it might take a few games to fully gel . Also it’s not the end of the world if we get knocked out of the cup either.

Genuinely curious mate but how do you explain a team like Wigan who lost 16 players this summer managing to look like a solid cohesive ball playing unit on day one of the season compared to our collection of individuals who seem to have no idea what they are supposed to do? It can only be down to the manager and his coaching staff can’t it? 
This tonight is a shambles so far and there is no defending it or the coaching staff.

We have a fitness coach who loves himself as manager of our huge football club.
Maybe we should have got a football coach...one that knows the game!

No excuses, if last season was a free hit Warne has had a entire summer to work on and recruit for this season. Looks awful
