Scott Walker died today. I'm not one for getting all maudlin about celebrities passing, but it's a good excuse to listen to his music.
Walker had such an interesting career path, going from proto boy band The Walker Brothers to big band to increasingly avant-garde compositions in his later career. Personally I love his Jacques Brel covers the most.

Its genuinely creepy but sometimes I just find myself unexpectedly laughing out loud. A few people found that apparently as there's loads of instances on reddit etc of people who saw it at the pictures whining that those who sat next to them ruined the tension as they were laughing so much.

Yeah it was a bit crap and can't understand why so many people have watched it. It would have been better if you didn't know what was going to happen because they let on what was going to happen at the start of the film.

It maybe didn't help that I knew about the most shocking scene before hand - having failed to avoid a spoiler, but that was in the good half of the film. After that it somehow changed direction and ended up like an old 80's B-Movie horror film.

I like the second one mainly as I really like Frank Grillo. He reminds me of Micahel Biehn for some reason.
There's a telly programme now as well.

People who make films and just call them the name of the person it's about. I just saw a trailer for Lizzie. Doesn't look as good as Brenda.
I rewatched Streets of Fire last week. That's what film titles are supposed to sound like.
