If we go down, on what planet is sticking with Rooney a good idea?

Well... this is the most negative I've felt after a game all season (and that's saying something). Even when we play alright we still find a way to come away with nothing.
We're rapidly getting dragged towards the trapdoor now 😞 and if we end up going down, we'll have deserved it. This has been the worst season overall performance wise since 'that' season in the Prem.
Krystian Bielik is my player of the season. Only in the 13 games in which he was involved did we look like a team that half meant business.

He has to take the blame for tonight, we have bottom half championship players zonal marking is so far above them it’s frightening he can’t see it. And then he changes the system when we were looking dangerous how we were set up and it completely ruined our shape and attacking play.

We hired a 'manager' with no track record, no qualifications and no plan beyond trying to copy the opposition.

The fact that's a pen shouldn't overshadow the fact that we have once again lost a match without making the opposition work for it.
    We can't keep blaming refs.
The regularity with which we throw away matches and our total inability to salvage a losing situation is absolutely disgusting and points to a lack of composure, a lack of bottle and the fact that most of this squad don't appear to give a toss.

Tomorrow I honestly would consider saying thanks but we need an experienced head.. and give it Schteve til the end of the season. Regardless of the league we are in I'm really doubtful Wayne is the man to take us up the table.

Get rooney out he's so clueless its frightening,  never in all my years of supporting Derby have I seen a manager lead us to lose nearly every single match against the bottom 10 that we've played against

I would honestly hand the coaching straight to Mac for these last games and the rest of them can take gardening leave.
At least he would teach this bloody lot where the onion bag was again,I don't give a monkeys if we concede 3 if we score 4.
    This is a joke.

I reject this. Wayne Rooney is not Derby County. He is a temporary custodian.
The club has existed a long time before his arrival and it’ll exist a long time after he’s gone unless of course the new owners are as inept as our forward line.
Maybe I’ve got my grumpy pants on today but this unconditional support tosh isn’t washing with me any longer. It’s a two way street as far as I’m concerned. Give me something to be proud of and my support will be vigorous. The halfhearted bilge I’ve endured in recent weeks is unacceptable as is our hoping for other teams failure to cement our safety in a weak division.

5 of Blackburn’s final 6 games are against relegation candidates.

They can upset a few apple carts, including their own

Rooney should never have been appointed in the first place - I don’t blame him for taking the job but he was not what was needed at such a critical stage of the season when we were crying out for someone experienced to provide a steady hand. Personally whatever happens this season if there is a takeover I would like to see the whole management team gone - we need a clean break from the Mel Morris era.

No, this is NOT a joke thread.
I’ve been a Rooney man, but I’m sick of negative team selections.
If he is so blind to see that a midfield 3 of Shinnie/Bird and Knight does not work, then he needs to get gone.
We lost the game today when the team was announced.
Surely we MUST start the game with at LEAST 4 attacking players. Against Luton we started with 4 attackers and won comfortably. Before anyone points out that Wag/Gregory were out, start with Joswiak today instead of Knight and that’s a better attacking balance.
Some may also point out that Clarke wasn’t playing and we needed to load midfield, but it’s too negative an argument - We need more attack minded players to keep the ball at their end of the pitch, away from our defence.
It’s just so boring and predictable that we set up to defend, go a goal down, then have to throw on attacking players to try and rescue a point, I didn’t even bother to watch the 2nd half today and I don’t think I’ve ever purposely done that.
No, it’s not good enough Wayne. You did a good job taking us out of danger but, given that other results went against us today, you’re anti-football is taking us the wrong way again.
We’re now back in the running as serious relegation contenders.
So sort it out fast or get gone and let’s get a manager with a bit of attacking chops, like Chris Wilder, his hell-for-leather approach may have been found out in the Prem, but let’s try and get there first and we’ll worry about that later.
