Bring them on when we are two goals down.

If we get anything out of this game then it represents real progress in my opinion.

Rampage got a reaction from Ted McMinn Football Genius in Further EFL charge tagged on
Being treated like a mushroom is no fun gi at all.

Rampage got a reaction from RadioactiveWaste in Embargo.
A simple uninformed guess at the impasse is - we have been offered a points deduction on the basis of agreeing to ..... . We don't agree with that so it just goes on and on. In the minds of the EFL we are therefore not co-operating. In the minds of our team, we are not being treated fairly, so it could just be a matter of principle. This would suggest that the case for giving us a points deduction is not quite strong enough and would only lead to further legal wranglings which neither side wants. Only a successful side will bring the fans back now but it has always been that way. COYR
All I want for Xmas is the embargo lifting.

I can't see the point of worrying about the off field issues, there is bugger all we can do about it.

Which we don’t know whether they will/won’t happen. As others have said we could be 8 points clear of relegation going into the last game and the EFL might find a way to make a 9 point penalty stick. My feeling is if we go down it will take a points penalty to do it, or we lose players in Jan which is possible if the off field situation isn’t sorted out. Lawrence for example could end up being another Kris Commons scenario and we nearly went down that season.

Rampage got a reaction from Chris_Martin in Patrick Roberts - Gone to Troyes on loan
Some of your posts are Helen Earth but strangely. I like them. If you cannot get good feedback on your posts just Troy, Troy and Troy again. There is more siege mentality among Rams fans than in Troy. I put three quid on the wooden horse of Troy but I wooden do it again. I know.

There is no point in throwing our Troyes out of the pram over this one.

I totally agree with you until it goes pear shaped for reasons that we have not seen coming.

It's hard to tell which ones would accept the wages we could offer, however a wide man or another centre foward would be the priority for me.

Rampage reacted to BramcoteRam84 in Louie Sibley
Great news for Sibbo being called up to the u20s. That Twitter post was Sibley saying he’s proud to wear the shirt, he’s proud to be a ram. Can’t believe people saw anything else in it. ??♂️
As for Saturday, I’ve now watched the game back, and while he wasn’t the star of the show he had another very good game and was involved in most of our positive play. I think Rooney might have hit on something with that front 4. Looked really dangerous throughout, even Morrison and he didn’t have his best game.

He would definitely have suited this seasons style of play better than last years

This could be our team in the not too distant future.
Roos
Byrne Jagielka Davies Buchanan
Knight. Bird
Jozwiak Morrison Sibley
Lawrence
Bench: Allsop, Forsyth, Shinnie, Baldock, Stearman, Stretton, Ebosele
Keeper suspect.
Defence - Top half quality - Two top 6 level full backs, a top 6 centre back in Jags (still), Davies still solid at this level.
Midfield - Knight - international linked with prem move, Bird looking back to form he was in under Cocu when he was being linked with prem moves. Yes young but certainly top half standard, level could dip at times.
Forwards - Jozwiak - international and top 6 class, Lawrence - international and top 6 class, Sibley - top half minimum massive potential, Morrison - top 6 class minimum.
As for bench, both Shinnie and Fozzy solid at this level (the latter was outstanding on Saturday), Stearman still ok lower championship standard, as is Baldock. Stretton looks a serious talent and will get goals (only denied by good defending on Saturday and top class goal v Peterborough). Ebosele is electric.
And we’ve not even mentioned Bielik coming back!!!!
It really doesn’t look that bad to me. Add to that the way we’re now looking to play football on the front foot. We’ve created chances in most games, yes we need to start taking them but we’re only 5 games into working on a new style of play. Keep playing like this we will score goals.
It’s a lazy argument to say we scored 36 goals last season and we haven’t addressed it. There were many games last season where we created nothing. Im not seeing that so far this season.
We will know more after 10-12 games but we don’t look like relegation certainties (assuming no huge points deductions come our way), and at worst we have enough to get ourselves to the next transfer window still well in contention to survive and (hopefully) we will be able to actually operate in the transfer market by then should we need to.

I agree. There must be something going on none of us are privy to as it just seems ludicrous it's not yet resolved. What that something is, be it EFL playing God, buyers' conditions of sale, MM throwing dummies out the pram, I honestly don't know. I'm just waiting for the All Or Nothing - Derby County documentary that must be coming on Amazon Prime, during which we may finally find out what's gone on.
