Jimbo Ram reacted to RoyMac5 in Relegation rivals watch
I agree, but the reality is different. It's good that Ravel has found form when pushed forward more. Tom looked lively and even Buchanan got some strikes on target, oh as did Knighty, yesterday. But still to have some good quality strikers (or even one!) to call on helps. #COYR

MA leases the ground for 5 years with an option to buy at market value once lease has expired, There's many ways of securing a deal if both parties are in agreement

Derby City Council own the stadium, They lease the ground for football matches, So at a guess they'd also own the rights to hold other events, Then again all depends on who and what is in a contract.

It’s the knock on effect for all of the other small businesses too, pubs, restaurants, cafes etc….bit like when the mines closed down in some areas ? If they have to take a 22 million one off hit to maintain an ongoing 100 million annual income in to the city a no brainier really.

Can’t believe Bird’s red is still being debated, photo footage shows it clearly was. Foot off the ground and caught his shin. Their red card was more dubious…..

If nothing else it might push potential buyers in to action because I am sure they would all want to own the ground…Ashley especially ?

I’ve said all along that Derby City Council should buy the ground.
Its a no brainer

If PPS is on offer at £22m that sounds like a very good deal by comparison, and maybe if the Council owns the two adjacent sites it could bring more business into the area.

Palarse v Arsenal……can Viera get one over his old team and team mate. Should be a fascinating watch ?

Maybe - but on the balance I think with the club being so important to the city economically as-well as culturally - that anything they can do to keep Derby County is major benefit of the city. Of course ideally it should not be at the consequence of vital services being kept running but overall I think the positives would certainly outweigh the negatives of any such deal. I think I’d also prefer the stadium to essentially be owned by the people of derby if you want to spin it that way.

It's actually Notts County's third away kit. We won it in a raffle.

Having seen the 2 incidents, their red was a lot more debatable than ours, there were covering defenders….Bird’s definitely a red….

We have to come up with a plan that gives us a chance of winning 2 of the 3 away games ?

Curtis running on to a through ball and beating someone for pace was not part of the plan…….getting his head on the end of a cross mind…….

Bird's challenge was stupid and bad, Rooney must have told them not to give the ref a chance to even it up and it was a dangerous tackle. Also, a few thousand Derby fans, myself included, saying "ooh", must have helped the ref make up his mind.
This view clearly shows studs up, shin high, I'm afraid.

So…. Let’s leave it a bit longer then?
Weve done so many rounds of final bids that we must be done (positively or forked).
You can’t wIth a straight face keep giving deadlines to the “interested parties” and then…. “Ok this time I REALLY mean it, give me your best and final”…
