In a pub with no comms and looked a draw from my seat.

    Decent fight.

I actually prefer it with no commentary, at least without the commentary from the sky team because they’re all always incredibly biased, Johnny nelson, Adam Smith, Tony Bellew, Carl Froch, the lot of them. It wasn’t so much a problem in this fight because we all knew AJ deserved to win but they always let their bias get in the way of their commentary. Bellew said a few weeks ago that Canelo will be terrified of Callum Smith after his masterclass against Ryder, when anyone who saw that fight, would say that Ryder battered Callum Smith.

They should introduce Pauli malignaggi more, he’s always the only one who is unbiased. I can’t remember which fight it was, it might have been Usyk v Bellew but Pauli actually called the rest of the commentary team about their BS because they were over scoring the scorecards and said we shouldn’t be looking to give him rounds just because he’s British and you want him to him.

But I think the IBF will order him to fight Pulev in the same time period.

The belts are going to be split again I think. He'll defend Pulev and let Usyk have that WBO. They'll build that fight up and Usyk will be easier to negotiate with than if the IBF goes Pulev's way.

Yes that makes sense and what I was thinking would happen, and usyk has the chisora fight too doesn’t he and potentially whyte after that(although I think even that would be a fight or two too soon)? On the other hand, it could be better for Aj to get usyk out the way and beat him whilst he’s getting used to the jump up to heavyweight boxing. Would be surprised to see Usyk take it so soon though no matter what he’s said in the past

Bums? I'd pay a pound to see you call them that to their faces mate!

I’d beat and not just beat, I’d knock all of these wusses out with one hand behind my back. One after the other. You can even make Eddie Hearn the referee to make it fair for them because I’m generous.

  4. Good tactical plan by Rob McCracken, who I think deserves the most credit here. Also gotta give credit to Aj for sticking to the plan instead of being tempted to get involved in a scrap and trying to win the titles back in absolute fashion . Must admit, I didn’t think he had it in him again after the previous defeat. Thought it was a bit arrogant by Ruiz’s camp, he went in thinking AJ would approach it the same way as the first fight and tried too hard to try and get Aj into a brawl instead of focusing on his own game.

    Looking forward to PES 20.

There was a brief period where Fifa was the better game but back to Pes now.

I just download the option file for pes and it's all kitted up properly anyway. I think Fifa looks great right up until kick off. It sounds great too but pes is just a better game. When you've made it look licensed and official then you don't really miss the presentation of Fifa.

Fifa scripting seems worse too. You can always tell when the AI will score.

I wish EA would come out and just admit to this. Anyone who has played the game knows it exists and has done for many years. Everyone who goes on their forums and mentions handicap, scripting or momentum are banned straight away, no second chances. Seems like a dictatorship on there where censorship is major, if it’s didn't exist they wouldn’t ban everyone who even mention the words. Would rather an enjoyable football game where the person best wins rather than the game deciding who gets to win.

Maybe I should get back into Pes, I haven’t played it since 2006. I much preferred playing that on the ps2 than Fifa.

Any idea if renting PP out as a base for launching ballistic missiles would help our FFP situation?

Just hope they remember to open the roof first.

That is bound to help, every little helps with FFP.

But then again, Isis are trying to buy the league and EFL aren’t doing anything about it. Absolutely disgusting and makes a mockery of FFP ?

He accused AJ of juicing (testosterone boosters) in the first head to head which was incidentally muted by sky. What I will say is that if Aj is doing it then they all will be at it. Not that it would be a bad thing though because it makes for more interesting viewing for spectators. Although miller was suspended for taking a banned substance before for 9 months so it is most likely sour grapes. I must admit I prefer this Aj instead of the groomed PC version, which isn’t his real persona

Anyone been following the AJ v Miller build up?

I suspect Miller has part of his pay day riding on sales? It would make sense as it's not the fight anyone wanted and Hearn needs the spotlight back on AJ.

I think he's done really well here Miller. He's thrown everything at AJ.

Unfortunately I don't think AJ is playing along and I hope Miller realises that because he's going to have to be his very best just to avoid getting destroyed.

He's drawn out the AJ that Fury wants to fight. But he's a 22st punchbag.

And he's basically made himself look a tool for $$$. Such a twit.

I'll buy it now though. Hoping it's a short but sweet mop up job

Likewise younger people who are involved in an accident, just like thousands are each year, walk away with minor injuries and sell their story to the papers with the typical 'sad face' pictures moaning that the person who was at fault hasnt personally phone them to apologise (like that happens in normal life). Pretty sure could see the pound signs flashing in her eyes in the pictures.

Touché. Both angers me. My post was a dig at Prince Philip for failing to wear a seatbelt whilst driving the day after the accident.

Pauli had it spot on in commentary. What an absolute joke. Glad to see Fury was still upbeat in the post match conference.  Still don’t know how Fury got up from that knockdown in the 12th round. Wilder’s face was hilarious after that. Full credit to Fury

Johnny Nelson thinks Fielding will win?! Nah!!

Ha ha. It appears it’s a parody account

many people fell for it, believing it’s the real Johnny but it’s wouldnt surprise me if he thinks that Fielding is the favourite with his predictions in the past.

  12. Joshua’s changed my mind, 2 years ago I thought he was overrated and relied on nothing but his power. I thought that he was an ok boxer but nothing much apart and would be exposed in the latter rounds which is why I thought he’d be exposed against the likes of Parker, Klitchscho etc. I guess you could call me a Joshua hater then.  Now I think he’s the real deal. I can’t see anyone beating him. Fury a few years ago probably would be very close but I can’t ever see him ever getting back to that level. I can see Joshua going unbeaten his whole boxing heavyweight career and retire within 5 years before making a transfer to mma(which he’s spoken about in the past).

Boxing has lost all its credit. What a farce.

GGG was nore dominant in this fight than the first. Jesus. Unbelievable.

Canelo is the golden boy, he was never going to lose if it went all the way, the judges simply wouldn’t allow it.

  14. David Price is overrated, he’s got height which gives the illusion to some that he’s top quality when he’s not. His bum Tony Bellew called him one of the best heavyweights in the world.
