It's been two years with warne and attendances are outstanding...what are you factually basing your drop in attendances on?

Pride Park: Friday March 29th - 15.00 Kick Off
Friday night we get a chance to eradicate the bad dream that was Northampton away, but I think we've ridden our luck a little longer than just the last game and we simply must deliver a performance, or we risk succumbing to the lottery that is the play-offs. It's a sobering prospect by any measure. As it stands, we remain masters of our own fate, but potentially only by a single point and GD. Suffice to say, we can ill afford any further slip ups, or the chasers will be on us.
On paper, this is a tougher game than the last one, with Blackpool having notched wins against Bolton, Peterborough and Shrewsbury as well as a draw against league leaders Pompey in their last 10 league games. Chief goal threat would be Jordan Rhodes who has notched 15 this season, with Jake Beesley and Karamoko Dembélé chipping in with 8 amd 7 respectively. Dembélé also has a very respectable 11 assists, with CJ Hamilton next best with 7 for the season to date. Keeping those two quiet might be key.
Squad News: Injury report might perhaps be a better heading! With Nate now joining an ever-growing list of crocked players, it's safe to say that having had a pretty healthy squad a mere few weeks back, we're bang in trouble again on that front and we'll need to marshal resources in a clever and effective manner if we are to get anything from this game. We are told that the one good piece of news on this front currently is that Collo may play a part, but whilst the man's a Spartan, he'll surely not be sharp enough to start.
A last thought, until we have more news on who is actually fit enough to play, would be that while I want us to beat Blackpool, I do recall their kindness and solidarity during our troubled recent past. They're a proper club with a proper set of fans and I hope we make them as welcome at our place as they always seem to make us at theirs.
May the best team win, but may that team be Derby, please!

What about the huge gigantic positive we’re a net 2nd whatever happens with games in hand with 6 games left!!! That’s an excellent position to be in, let’s face it had we won today some fans would literally be popping the champagne corks thinking it’s done. Today is hugely frustrating but nothing more given the position we were in before the game, it’s in our hands.
Injuries are a blow and hope NML isn’t too bad but positives, CBT looked good, Collo is soon to be back, and injury/suspension means he probably has to play a back 4 now for the final few games.

Here we go, the world has caved in for some after today’s defeat, just as it did after back to back defeats and awful performances to Barnsley and Charlton just a few weeks ago. How did we respond? By winning 4 in a row, including our 3 best performances of the season back to back before Bolton. We’re still in a fantastic position, it’s in our hands with 6 games to go and we have enough winnable games to get over the line.
We were never going to win all these games points were always going to be dropped and will be dropped by other teams. Frustrating as it’s an opportunity missed just like Barnsley and Charlton were but that would’ve been a ridiculous run of wins at this stage in the season.
That said other than 15 minutes in the first half before they scored when we couldve scored 3 we were poor today, one of those days where you need to take your chances and hopefully sneak a win. We barely conceded a chance and the ref played a huge part in their goal so while we didn’t play well I certainly don’t think we deserved to lose.
Massive weekend ahead as it was always going to be. 4 points would be good and set us up well for the final 4 games. Think todays result means we need to beat Wycombe away now which will be tricky but it’s ours to lose. Hope we can get enough forward players fit to get us over the line, although thought CBT was a bright spark today and this could be his time. We need him.

I’d argue he’s not even been given a proper chance yet.

If the argument is he doesn’t track back, I question why we even bought him in the first place and what’s the point of putting him on the bench?

This line up doesn’t shout goals - and goals win games. At least with CBT and NML you in essence give them a free pass to create.

Now our attacking centre mids appears to be Thompson. Jesus.

A good test to see whether the manager and the players read the forum…
Will they do a throwing confetti celebration if we score a goal?

Best season we have had in a bloody long time , ground was full to the ginnells Saturday with most staying long after the whistle to celebrate and leaving extremely happy , I was surrounded by singing all the way back to the car , seen some great goals scored and seen some not so great performances in games at times over a long season , if we get promoted this season will live long in the memory of this old boy who’s seen the great times and the lowest of lows ,it will live long as the warne promotion season that I really enjoyed ,
simple fact is we have one or two posters who are intent on rubbishing anything achieved and winding people up trying to stop them enjoying all the good stuff that’s happening for our club and us fans,
honestly ? Just stick them on ignore or read there stuff , see it for what it is , laugh and move on without replying and giving them the pleasure of winding you up ,
it really is that simple 🤷🏻‍♂️

He looks put of place in Warneball. And at this stage, you’d rather pick lesser players suited to Warneball than have a better player out of place looking like a luxury.
Hourihane would have shone under Rosenior.

    Here’s a website with the stats from the game on Saturday as you possibly don’t remember the details;
    https://www.sportinglife.com/football/live/163100/derby-county-vs-bolton-wanderers/stats
They had 6 shots, 3 on target. We had 10 shots, 3 on target.
It says both sides created and missed 1 big chance each.
They had 2 shots off target, we had 4.
They had 1 blocked shot, we had 3.
Our xG for the game was 0.55 theirs was 0.43.
Both teams had 6 corners each.
Now, the big and most important stat, we scored a goal, they didn’t.
We know you don’t like/rate Warne, it’s possible for you to still have that stance and also admit the reality that he got a decent result against a promotion rival, all the evidence is there if you find just the tiniest bit of humility.

I'm not here to challenge anyones opinions, they are what they are, let them be.
Personally I'm delighted with the job that Warne is doing, I think Dwight Gayles recent interview and the scenes at full time in front of a sell out crowd on Saturday show the togetherness of this team is a credit to the management team.
His style may seem a little unorthodox to some and it won't suit every player, yet it's working with what was assembled whilst scraping barrels under EFL's restrictions makes it even more of an achievement.
When you look at the likes of Sunderland, Leeds, Forest who came down here, to think we can be in and out in 2 seasons is truly remarkable given the state of the club.
Important to point out, the season isn't done, we still have 7 huge games to play before we can start to think about the Championship, although no matter what happens between now and May, I have seen significant improvement to be fully behind Warne next season regardless of what division we are in.

I think I could leave the forum for weeks, get married, go on my honeymoon, see Derby further strengthen their grip on second with two or three wins, and still come back to the same two or three posters trying to downplay the job Warne is doing.
Even after a hard-fought win against a direct rival where Warne clearly had the tactical edge, they are still picking faults.
    How tiresome.

The reason that Barkhuisen and Ward we t off is that they had both suffered slight muscle pulls and Warne didn’t want to take any risks. It might have backfired, but playing on with an injury could gave done so even more, especially with our existing injury record.

WOW,,,, think that covers yesterday, the whole day was ducking WOW ,
second v third must not lose game and that’s what we got ,
what swung the game to a narrow derby win ?
    1. The culture Paul warne has built and is building at derby from bringing in the right type of people as players to fitness to those players being treated in a way that makes them want to run through brick walls for the shirt and the manager,
    2. the fans , our fans , my tribe , premier league ? You can keep that , yesterday was a league 1 game and you couldn’t touch that , it’s why I fell and stayed in love with derby all these years , yeah we have some moaners on here but they just drift into insignificance when you are in the ground and supporting your team, where we are and supposed standard of football mean nothing when put against yesterday, if you are not moved by yesterday and oh so glad you were in the ground or wishing to hell you were there then football is not for you ,
I was moved big style by the fans and warne interaction at the end , he didn’t bounce but that’s a mark of the man , im sure he will bounce if/ when he actually delivers the prize , he’s not lampard ,
for me warne is manager next season no matter what division we are in

There's a difference between it being a tight game and suggesting they were somehow robbed.
It went as Warne planned. Hold them at arms length and hit them at pace or from a dead ball.  We did that and then largely they created very little.

That was massive today. Wildsmith, Nelson and Cashin all immense but special mention to Foz. What a guy.
Also huge credit to Warne. I think all his subs, whether forced or not, made a difference. It would have been easy to replace Gayle with Waggy but it was crucial to get the extra body in midfield and stop Bolton from dominating. The changes at half time all worked. Wilson was a threat all half, Tommo brought loads of energy and possession, Waggy is still getting back to fitness but good to be able to bring on a striker and he played his part. And how about Elder’s first touch?
I’ve seen a lot of criticism of Hourihane and today wasn’t his best game - and he wasn’t suited to playing in a midfield 2 against Bolton’s midfield. He will make contributions over the rest of the season though, the whole squad will. I really hope CBT gets a chance soon and shows what he’s made of.
I would say I enjoyed it today but I really didn’t! I was tense as hell but I really enjoyed the result and the table looks very healthy indeed. Also, the atmosphere was amazing - both sets of fans did their clubs proud. Was very satisfying to shut them up though, didn’t hear a peep out of them after we scored.
