This feigning injuries by goal keepers is getting beyond a joke, and annoyingly, I have to agree with this, but they can stop them having a mass team meeting with the coaching staff, maybe allow no more than 2 players to go over for a quick word.

Another good performance.  Similar to Saturday, we did everything but score in the 1st half.  Their keeper played well and Cashin was unlucky to hit the woodwork.  Gayle’s first touch for his goal was superb and it took some nerve from Hourihane for the penalty, I hate it when there’s a long delay between the award and taking as I think it gives the advantage to the keeper.  I was surprised at 4 subs just after the penalty but I think Saturday was in PW’s mind with all the changes.
Barkhuizen was my MoM.  He looks rejuvenated and is unlucky not to have scored in the last 2 games.  One of the best bits for was seeing Hourihane on the bench after going off. He was up and down and encouraging the team.  That’s great to see and testament to the team spirit PW and his staff have built.
Game 3 of an important month out of the way.

The past two games have been a joy to watch. We didn’t play as well second half as we did in the first but that first half, the movement, the passing, the desire to win the second ball was excellent.
Adams was brilliant again, at first I thought he was just a midfield battler but his range of passing in the past few games has been superb. I really hope we can tempt him to stay, he compliments our midfield perfectly.

The front three of Barks, NML and Dwight were brilliant. Dwight really is a level above.
Cash as ever played at a level way above his years.
There was some very good individual performances yesterday but the energy and commitment as a team was fantastic and a pleasure to see.
    Well done Derby

Oh so important to have won again. Surprised people are talking so much about the decisions. They all seem justifiable.
But the point there is that in what looks like a vital early season game vs Bolton, this same ref was so appalling that Derby released the Assessor's report. Which showed the ref effectively gave a 4 goal swing against us in favour of Bolton. That's extraordinary and it meant the same ref couldn't go against us tonight or serious questions would have been asked about him.
I certainly don't want this ref every week, but maybe he's got it out of his system? Regardless, it sounds a well-deserved win.
For context with the goal conceded, in the post-match Warne said Bradley had felt ill before the game and was sick afterwards. Our game management does seem a weakness in terms of seeing games out. Hopefully we can improve that quickly.

We’re like a different team… rather we play like a team!
ward is like a new signing .. so to is Barks to an extent
well done PW for making lots of changes at the right time - the guys on the bench need minutes and the guys on the pitch need resting
    Everyone played well again
some of the football was really good
Shame we didn’t get that third to boost them but so glad we got the win against our bogey team (who were very dirty)
hope everyone can rest and recover for Saturday (and the players 😂)
thought CBT did ok again. When he gets a goal he’ll fly
ebou adams .. I hope Cardiff don’t want him next year
Can’t not mention Gayle - a good footballer and looks to be exactly what we needed
if you had said a few weeks ago that we’d be without JC/ Max Bird/Nyambe and play that well I wouldn’t have dared to believe you
    Our fans are awesome
I actually thought at times we looked like a top team .. enjoyed that feeling but still very nervous those last 10 mins or so

Not interested in any errors the card happy ref made. If we did come out on top in the luck stakes tonight then it’s the ebb and flow of a season. We’ve had our fair share of poor decisions. They didn’t all go our way either.

Enjoyed that. We ran the show apart from the last 20 when we dropped a bit deep and let them play hoof ball which made for some nervy moments. I was entertained, we upped the tempo for large chunks of the game with a huge uplift in neat fast one touch play. How many chances did we create ? We could have been 3 up at half time. Well done to the whole team. That was a maximum effort performance. Regardless of any decisions we were deserved winners by a considerable degree . Gayle’s movement must be a nightmare for defenders. Lovely run leading up to the peno so well spotted by Adams. (Who by the way will likely be staying given his joyful man hugs with Warne at the end of the game. )

It’s about time the FA stopped the dark art of goalkeepers faking injury so the manager can give his team a tactical talk. We battered them in the first 10 minutes then their keeper needed treatment for making a save then suddenly all their team headed to the touch line, it was so obvious. We never really got going again for a while. Port Vale did similar thing the last home game.

I don't dispute that, I just think given how many times we've been on the receiving end ourselves, I don't get the sack cloth and ashes routine from some fans. We are not a team of s******** merchants, but tonight, Reading very much were. Had they actually tried to play any football, I might have had some sympathy. The also ref bottled an earlier red card as well, which some seem to have forgotten.

We seem to be playing more football and fluidity with Gayle up front instead of Collins, it’s definitely becoming more enjoyable to watch and more buzz about the place.

We may have had the rub of the green but only one team deserved to win that game. 5-1 wouldn’t have flattered us. One of the best home performances this season and that is now 3 wins in a row but importantly 3 back to back high level performances right at the business end of the season when we need it. Playing like this, even if it ends up being the playoffs we’ll beat anyone.
Huge game on Saturday but regardless of their 5-0 win tonight, I’m not worried if we play like that.
Im a very happy Ram right now.

A few huge slices of luck this evening with another terrible ref - but all that matters are the 3 points - I would have liked a more convincing performance though and didn’t enjoy sitting back against 10 men !

Long journey to fill and Mr CBR doesnt talk when driving 🙄
    - Dwight just adds that touch of class and he works so hard around their defenders. Really noticed energy reduction up top when he came off
    - Also listen to his post match interview on rad derby if you get chance. Extremely complimentary about everything at Derby and the environment PW has created. Seems to be just loving it and it shows
    - Barks is like a player reborn - the change in him is immense. Always thought seemed not bothered. Loving him and Gayle together at the moment and takes pressure off Nat
    - Robbie Savage singing away to steve bloomer's watching but then moaning away. Scruffy git also. Loved Savage junior's foul throw in front of him
    - moment their goalie was signalling for VAR check on penalty was hilarious
    - great atmosphere - wasnt expecting such feistiness tonight

He was beaten in the air. So what? Do you expect him to win every ball? Their player should not have been able to get in behind, but let's ignore that and hate on Bradley some more shall we?

Absolutely. On one team came to play football, they came to boot us and waste time. They got exactly what they deserved, nothing. We played them off the park at times.

I do wonder about some on here. We were miles better than them and I lost count of how many cheaty little fouls they put in tonight that weren't carded. We were also the only side that looked like scoring all night. Does anyone really think they deserved a point tonight? I really don't get the mardiness from some quarters.

Fully deserved win and pretty comfortable except for one ball into the final third we allowed to drop.
No controversy in the win for me. Reading played into the ref’s hands with so many cynical and brainless fouls. On another day, they would have had a man sent off in the first half. The keeper also charged out needlessly, giving the referee a decision to make.
Adams was imperious, but Gayle was the difference. His intelligent runs and movement and clever touches scared the life out of Reading’s defence. He also took his goal very nicely.
If we can keep him fit for the next eight games, we have a very real chance of promotion.

On balance we deserved those decisions. Lots of fouls unpunished also - they were dirty- and what about dissent supposed to be a booking. None given. They could have been down to 10 or 9. How many shocking decisions have we had against us this season?

Are you the guy who said he 'hated' Warne yet have never met him? Your posting history makes it look as though you're on the forum just to have a go at the manager - if so that's sad when there's so many positives going on at our Club.

We’ve won 2 on the bounce with an aggregate score of 6-0 and gone clear in 2nd, even if others win their games in hand.  We’re now back to psychoanalysing everything Warne and his staff say.  You couldn’t make it up!!

That's just your interpretation of what he said. To me, he was merely stating some "home" truths : at this stage of the season, the fans can help to lift the team when they're struggling (as they have done at times recently) by vocal encouragement; understand that the players are doing everything they can to win promotion and get behind them; we're in a great position now so let's all push together. I heard nothing that suggested he was trying to deflect blame in the event we failed.
I think some of our fans are just looking for excuses to feel offended now.
