It was bloody rubbish said Mick. Even a bloke in a wheelchair got up and walked out.

Leeds were always going to be fired up for this game after last season, they started full on and never let up. We did well to contain them for long periods. You could see they would never be able to maintain the tempo, and they couldn't. They really dropped off the last ten, which allowed us a bit more space. Our goal was great!
The comments criticising Cocu are laughable, we got battered by Leeds twice last season and lost three class players since. Such a tough game today and his substitutions were spot on.

I don't know what people were expecting here. We played Leeds 4 times last season and were comfortably beaten in 3 of them.
The recruitment has been awful, the manager had a 4 week pre-season and Leeds are a well drilled outfit who will smash a lot of teams this year.
But, predictably, many of our fans have decided 8 games is enough and it's time for the manager to be sacked. Risible.

It’s the intransigents on both sides that are the problem.
The Leavers who say “we should just get on with it – we voted leave”, and refuse to consider any evidence or facts
The Remainers who say “we should remain – all leave voters were misled/racist/stupid”.
The latter’s arrogance only drives the former’s entrenchment
I’ve been attacked by hardcore remainer friends for daring to suggest that (despite me voting remain) I’d happily leave the EU if there was a deal that meant the drawbacks were offset by new positives.
The truth of the result was that almost half the country voted to remain and just over half the country voted to leave.
We need to encourage people try and empathise with those that voted the opposite way to them. Without that we are going nowhere

I have tried on a numerous times to get tickets from that club, but I don’t think they ever get to general sale. On each each occasion the ticket office operator was quite blunt saying Groningen. Rude. I just put the phone down.

Didn't have much choice of material as a young kid.  Local TV began airing when i was 5, so all we could get on our smuggled Radionette TV/radio cabinet were grainy transmissions of American programs from the NATO base station.  For kids there was Felix The Cat which i loved and Captain Kangaroo which i found creepy.  Enjoyed the grown up programs most, especially Get Smart and Combat.  Learned English watching that stuff, that's why i talk funny.

Every Sunday most kids were allowed to go to the cinema at 3pm where we had a choice of mostly Roy Rogers or Looney Tunes, the latter being most popular with me, specifically Daffy Duck, loved when he went crazy and the rare occasions he got the better of that deplorable Bugs Bunny character.

I do hope I don’t fall sick in your part of the country. Not only would I be unlikely to find many Health Care Professionals, it seems that all the patients are raging racists. Can I suggest you use your contacts to see if you can get some colonic irrigation on the NHS.

It amuses me that a good number of the Socialists on here seem to keep sniping at leavers as being thick or racist, where a high majority of leavers are poor or from the ‘working classes’. You would think they might be a bit more supportive, but perhaps all that Champagne gives them muddled thinking.
