They are chanting warnes name AFTER games now , that’s not in game chants to raise the team , it’s praise for the job he is doing and well deserved it is too , he’s also not jumping in on the bounce to steal the players / fans joy , he is maintaining that line as the boss with a job to do , some on here may not like it but the majority of fans at games are giving Warne the respect and praise he deserves for what he is creating at derby ,
there’s an honesty and culture at the club now that’s been missing for a long time and I for one want to see where he can take it given time and a bit more to spend

In the meantime, clubs in League 1 and 2 are forced to play their U23's adding to their own fixture congestion and injury list in a competition worth about as much as a happy meal.  Here's a plan, use some them U23's in a replay against Stockport.  Much the same fecking thing. 

What really ducks me off is the hypocrisy of the PL and how weak the FA are. Too many games blah blah blah. What about the pre season games in the US, Asia, Oz, the endless and meaningless rounds of European matches, sorry I meant mini leagues, to makes sure the big clubs don’t get knocked out early. The problem of the FA cup is that it does not pay enough compared to the rest and those greedy barstewards prefer playing friendlies vs Al Kerching from the Saudi league than lower league clubs. Rant over.

i said it before and will say it again, I’d rather see the Rams winning the FA cup than seeing my country win the World Cup (again)

They'll need to add more than 2 points after the brazen way forest persist with broccoli worship and promotion of offensive slogans such as "you reds" and desecration of the already terrible "mull of kintyre" surely bringing the game into disrepute.

I'd bet on it being this. The club cannot endorse any encroachment on the pitch for all sorts of reasons (ground regulations, league regulations, insurance, safety etc etc) but I'd guess they're probably not going to go hard on a mass celebration of promotion, however, if anyone does anything violent or stupid they'll get what they deserve for it.
 

The bit where he says he's going to throw the players into the pit of the sarlak to be slowly digested over a thousand years was one of the best motivational speeches I've seen from any manager.

Is there a scenario where it gets confirmed midweek if Bolton drop points tomorrow, Peterborough win tomorrow and Derby win, but Peterborough drop points in their game in hand?

I'd bet on it being this. I don’t think there’ll be a pitch invasion at Cambridge.
You can imagine though that there will be some kind of overspill if we score, especially in front of our own fans. Similar to the scenes at Port Vale.
If we go into the Carlisle game needing a result and we get one, I am 99% sure there will be a pitch invasion. 
Is it the right thing to do? Personally I think it depends on how you behave yourself. If people do it respectfully, I think it can be a joyous moment and let’s face it, these moments are few and far between.
I certainly fondly remember dancing on the pitch in the rain after Southampton at home in the play-offs singing Que Sera Que Sera.

Nothing would be more derbyesque than a 40 page argument about how we should be allowed to celebrate before promptly losing to Cambridge and Carlisle. Why don’t we simply not worry about it and act accordingly when/if the time happens. And by accordingly I mean alcohol. 

I suspect the club just felt obliged to issue such a warning but know it might still happen.
Personally, whilst it's something worth celebrating, it's not as if we've won the league or anything so I'd prefer we all just stayed in the stands and allowed the players and their families to do a proper lap of honour. 
Regarding H&S, I was at the Tamworth game two weeks ago when they sealed promotion for the second year running. Some numpty must have fallen over the advertising hoardings (needless to say, there is no upper tier at Tamworth 😀) and had to be taken away on a stretcher by St. John's Ambulance.

Of note - all parties "accepted" - doesn't mean they agreed! 
Also , where is the player welfare in flying out to Australia at the end of a busy season to play football while jetlagged? f****** nonsense!

It other news, Rotherham have appointed Steve Evans the Hutt as their manager, presumably having put salt down around Stevenage.

Hugely entertaing sprint qualy in the rain, but I'm getting really sick of the jobsworth stewards interferring with every race:
1. if the drivers are struggling to keep their cars on the track, what's the point of enforcing track limits? - they're clearly not gaining an advantage by going wide on a corner...
2. If you ARE going to enforce track limits, don't then decide when to and when not to on the fly.....
