You complain about how lack of support doesn't effect players, but then say how Clement should be animated on the touchline for some reason.
    What logic is that?

Do you think it's a myth that a nervy, booing, moany and unsupportive crowd unnerves the home team too? Why do away managers (Just like Rowett said today) pinpoint their strategies on crowds like ours?
Whilst I don't think a constant vocal backing will win us points, I don't think it would hurt to not constantly abuse our players throughout a match. You can see it does effect the players, so ******* stop it. Please.

The common denominator is the dreadful behavior shown towards our our players by people wearing Derby scarves. They aren't fans, they are people who expect us to win and when we don't they spout the most horrendous bile. This undoubtedly undermines the confidence of our players and boosts the confidence of our visitors.

It's amazing how quickly expectancy overtakes optimism. The best times I've had as a Derby fan were McClaren's first season and Burley's first season and a half. The fans were right behind the team because it was a relief to finally see some exciting football, but a mixture of fair weather fans crawling out of the woodwork as results improve and the increased expectation means that positivity doesn't last long.

I spent four years at university both under and post grad... This is the self entitled attitude that really grinds my gears. The club doesn't owe you anything for being loyal.
You have a roof over your head, you have a laptop (an assumption based on university), a season ticket for Derby and the means to travel back. Please explain how you are amongst 'the poorest'?
You are living away from your parents. Anyone who has ever moved out has had to make sacrifices but you are lucky enough that league matches at Derby are not one of these. So to attack the club for charging the going rate for a match against the biggest team in English football is very short sighted.

    What are we moaning about?
Sick of fans who constantly encourage Mel to dip his hand in his pocket but can't do the same themselves. We have been SPOILED by generous owners.
As annoying as you might find this pricing, it IS the going rate for football matches against premier league opposition nowadays.
Either pay it and shut up moaning or watch it on the tele, you're not being forced to do anything...

Only a moron wouldn't have learnt from this team bottling two successive promotions, and would then go and put massive pressure on the team to play like Barcelona week-in week-out, and then moan when the team confidence drops as a result of the massive pressure!
We were top a week before Christmas, and 2nd at New Year, yet people still found something to moan about.
You ****** did this last season, yet didn't learn.
You destroyed the feel good factor and drove a (then succeeding) manager out of the club after ruining Christie, Hendrick, Forsyth, Keogh and Grant mentally.
It's not the players we need to kick in to shape, it's those fans who are making it a horrible place to play.
Before you give me nonsense about players earning good money and should be able to take it, use your ******* brain before spouting that **** to me! Performing under pressure does not get easier (or harder) in relation to wealth! But it is affected by the fear put into you by thousands of deluded, ungrateful, demanding, self-important, selfish, self-entitled, irrational, impatient, jealous, bird-brained, SO-CALLED "supporters".
We were cruising along, for the second season running, yet those ****** amongst us have made issues out of nothing, found scapegoats when none were needed, found reason to criticise when they should be praising.
Lo and behold, self-fulfilling prophecy AGAIN.
    Well done.

A combination of the players themselves, the previous managements, current management, the people that moan and groan and boo sat in the stands and the ones who abuse the players and their family over social media.

There are not many constants over the past couple of years. Fans booing and bellyaching in a variety of forms is certainly one of the constants.

Clearly Derby County don't understand this message.
Why mess with the 4-3-3 which had us second in the league, four points clear of third?
I said it against Leeds away. Why change the system, why risk playing a changed side in order to 'rest' players for Boro. Ludicrous decision, and it cost us.
Now, we changed again against Reading and played poorly and today was an absolute shambles. It's all stemmed from a change when nothing needed changing.
Baird could have come in for Thorne at DM. Blackman is our Bent. He dosn't fit into a 4-3-3, or his best position is the once Tom Ince currently takes up. An utterly pointless signing and now we're trying to accomodate him.
Can't believe we haven't learned the basics. Like last season didn't prove a big enough warning? Jesus...

Add Bryson to that post and I'd totally agree, Forsyth did the running to cut back for Martin, Bryson likewise bombed on and got close to link up and feed off him.
For all the Martin haters, Blackman showed today if you don't get the service, you wont stand a chance of scoring. The system hasn't suited Martin, no wonder his energy levels dropped and body language showed signs of frustration. The guy was getting no service compared to last year.

Martin has been poor for a long time now i mention this because of the current warnock discussion on this thread may play a part in this. Point being since forsyth has been injured martin has struggled.
I think forsyth was extremely important in the way we play  'the derby way' especially in a 4-3-3. Today in particular we struggled down the left and the guy who has picked up on the warnock not being quick enough to get back (and forward imo) may have a very valid point.

It says everything when literally within 24 hours we go from 'Should we even put a full strength team out against the most successful team of the Premier League era - they're only 5th in the Premiership so that means we should beat them easily' to 'Drawing against a solid Championship team who played well when we played the worst we have all season is unacceptable. This and that player are a liability etc etc etc and should be sold immediately or failing that have their contract terminated and splurge another £10m+ rebuilding the team.'
On one hand it p*isses me off how fickle some of our 'supporters' are but then I also feel sorry for them.

It is expecting a lot for us to go up this season. Middlesboro, Burnley and Hull have kept the nucleus of their team together for 2 or 3 seasons. We have had lots of changes in a short space of time. We don't know our best team since Jan arrivals and maybe didn't know before. We don't have a settled formation and we have a rookie manager. It would be a great effort to go up this year. Next year is more likely if we keep it together.

A seemingly fantastic scheme for local kids throughout the surrounding area has been launched today, giving thousands of local kids, and hundreds of local coaches the opportunity to tap into top level coaching and development at no cost, thanks to DCFC, and instead of talking about this we're focusing on the rights and wrongs of a owner entering the dressing room of his own team at the end of a match to give his feedback!

Nigel Clough blah blah blah wouldn't trust him blah blah. We have him to thank for martin Hendrick Hughes bryson Buxton Russell forsyth Keogh.
These players are still key to this Derby side.
I think it is the perfect match for mason down the road. Would not be surprised to see him playing permanently for Burton next season . Clough obviously rates him highly.
I think mason has a good future in football sadly though not with us.
    Good luck mason
