Anon got a reaction from Comrade 86 in Timi Max Elsnik
Yes. That's easy to say with hindsight though. It's also a very different proposition trying to break into a Championship playoff team with Mount/Huddlestone/Bryson in front of you in the pecking order than breaking into a league one team. It seemed an odd time to release him though. 2019 was the summer that Mel realised he was in trouble with the finances and Cocu was encouraged to use talents produced from our academy. Surely Elsnik could've competed for game time with Bird/Sibley/Knight.

Anon reacted to Ghost of Clough in Timi Max Elsnik
We decided we would get rid early in the 18/19 season. We even tried to sell him in the January to Mansfield (where he was supposed to stay the full season on loan and would be free in the summer). We then recalled him before realising no one would pay a fee for someone who would be free a few months later, then panic loaned him out to the first taker.
It's been said a few times, but whoever was making the final decision on our youngsters players was doing a bad job of it. We got lucky with Cashin and to some degree Ebosele, but missed out big time on Whittaker, Archie Brown, Jacobsen, and Elsnik.

After all the months of hype and award nominations I thought I'd finally give this a go.
Not sure what all the fuss is about if I'm honest. A few decent jokes but the satire is spoonfed as opposed to being cleverly done and I was a bit bored, actually.
5/10 for the design. Will Ferrell was good value (and I'm not normally much of a fan of his)

"it" is a British passport, or more precisely it's that he meets the home grown player requirements, is cheap, and play in a position where he is unlikely to be used.

At least you got an FA cup win and a trip to AC Milan for your misery. We got Richard Keogh and Tom Lawrence doing the Dukes of Hazard and Wazza looking like a weeble for 6 months..😂 I think we shared the same financial wizardry of Andronikou however. A real treat.

Watched a bit of the livestream, which just happened to be when Matt Lamb was smacking the ball to all parts, eventually out for 90. Really hope his injury problems are behind him, fully fit he’d be like a new signing.

I hope we can kill the Amir deal. 6 T20 appearances is not an adequate contribution to a season. I'll happily accept an inferior quality player with more commitment.

Anon reacted to ramit in The Ukraine War
Oh boy, am I on some list of dangerous individuals now, because I stray from getting all my info from the dubious MSM supply? Every news outlet, tweeter and commenter is questionable, pro western and pro Russian alike. Often the truth lies somewhere in between the opposing views, I have found. It is important to ask questions and in my opinion dangerous not to.
I´d urge folks to question everything, use discernment and critical thinking and not allow any side to bully them into submission for not automatically joining a choir.
I am not convinced this atrocity was committed by ISIS, that's why I posted that tweet. I also am beginning to doubt that the suspects are of clear enough minds to have pulled this off without some serious help. They seem borderline mentally challenged, severely uneducated at the very least. Something is very fishy about this whole thing.

Anon got a reaction from Ewe Ram in Points Deduction, Who's Next And When Will It Stop?
I just don't care anymore. I don't care who's cheating or who isn't, to what extent they're cheating, or whether the rules are fair. I didn't develop an interest in football because I liked accounting and bureaucracy. Modern football is s***. Fans celebrating accounting tricks and balance sheets, whether in favour of or detrimental to their clubs, is pretty pathetic.

It's a valid point, but for most collectors, it's a store of value. With the shallow kudos attached of being able to say you own it
It's essentially Bitcoin but without the horrible and needless environmental impact of coin mining - and you can actually gaze upon it and perhaps get some aesthetic pleasure from it, rather than just getting wood over some 1s and 0s that you "own"

Maybe. You make a fair point and it's not like those artists are without merit. On the other hand I don't think popularity is always the best metric when valuing a piece of art or media. Why would anyone bother even discussing them otherwise? We would just all agree that Avatar is the pinnacle of cinema and Mrs Brown's Boys is the greatest British comedy ever produced and have done with it. You don't have to agree with my examples, but surely you have certain works of art or pieces of media whose popularity baffles you?
The second point is far easier to respond to. I scoff because I'm a miserable Bamford.
