I see John Eustace has appeared on the odds.
Did a good job at Kidderminster and was Mac's assistant at QPR.  Wouldn't have him as manager right now (although he is far more qualified than Rooney) but would love to see him in the setup.

Apparently it's not just the players weeping and wailing it's the fans too! 😄
The club should have appointed Rooney straight away.
Rob Dorsett hasn't told us how he knows yet, could be yet more poo-stirring, we are somewhat an easy target atm! 😄

That’s where I am too 100% the watching at home with the wife and kids isn’t cutting it like it would with the boys, I am missing that part immensely.
The reasoning behind that is...losing in the way we are would be annoying at the ground and in the pub after but losing the way we are watching it at home is soul destroying because the good lady and the kids don’t get it like fellow boys do and my ranting and raving at the TV screen is going down too well either 😱😱🤯😂

Normally I am a member of the 'However bad we are, cheer em til you're hoarse' brigade because I have watched and supported some really poor Derby sides but as long as I felt that they were giving a good go then I could live with it. Even allowing for a lack of a certain striker (whose appearances were sporadic anyway) this squad has shown far better than it is currently showing though and didn't suddenly become easily the worst team in the Championship. The clear suspicion amongst fans is that they are not giving their all for the cause and fans can forgive many things but not that. I would never condone any fan abusing players on twitter though and I have never booed a Derby player at a game and will never do so.
We have been so abject this season though that many fans feel that they need a little something back - something, anything to suggest that the players are in this with us not just looking for their next move. There is a point within a game where the crowd have been right behind the team but the game isn't going well and the fans are getting a more and more subdued and you need something to happen, a spark to work with, something to bounce off. That may be a shot, a powerful run or just a crunching tackle but it lifts the crowd and we need that moment right now, both in real terms on the pitch but also in more general sense for club morale.
Please. Show us some fight. Give us some hope, that's all most of us ask.

I was going to make this just about Shinne, but I think Curtis deserves a mention also.
I dont understand why neither of these are in our starting 11? We are clearly in a battle and the one thing both of these players will do is battle.
Shinnie is twice the player Rooney is at present.
Our midfield 2, if we play a two, should be Shinnie and Knight.  Shinnie the little terrier battling away and Knight the new Craig Bryson. I have no idea why the Backstreet boys cant see it?

My remit used to be a club that others could look at and go: 'I wish we were run like that'. My new remit is now just having a club that doesn't give others a chance to look at and go: 'I'm glad we aren't run like that'.

Fingers crossed we're getting close with the takeover now and it's just a matter of time before it's announced. Assuming it does happen soon, what are your early Christmas wishes for the new tenure?
Mine would be - no more publicity stunts please. We've been in the headlines far too often over the last few years for both good and bad reasons. Whoever does come in as manager, please make it someone who can help us slip under the radar and just quietly go about their business getting us out of the relegation dogfight we're in...

I sincerely hope that Mel, hopefully with the aid of what Stevie Mac has seen already will go all out to secure an established manager to get us out of this mess ASAP, even if that is the Mac temporarily. We cannot seriously carry on like this any longer, surely even R and R can see that this is tarnishing any reputation for a future in management they think they have. And lastly I really hope (the majority) of the players got up this morning and took a long hard look in the mirror and thought about how pathetic there effort to perform and fight to get out of this mess really is, time to stand up and be counted, everyone connected with my beloved football club.

he is another one that needs to go when the new man comes in, too many people trying to use Derby to progress their careers

Ted McMinn Football Genius reacted to Ewe Ram in I’m so sad, disappointed and pretty much done
I just feel sad, incredibly sad. I’ve felt for ages that the EFL and Gibson going after us was going to end in tears. That Lampard and the media circus would leave us abandoned and washed up when the prem came calling. The way he messed about ‘should I stay or should I go’ while dancing on a yacht was just making us look pathetic. Mel trying to offload the club and failing for months with a weak ‘it’s got to be right for the club’ excuse. The dodgy finance men and their ‘amortisation’ thinking they’re clever. Taking on Rooney with money from god knows where. I could go on but I’m too sad, it’s all been coming and we, the passionate fans, are left to suck it up.
