Why hadn't any decent clubs previously signed Saïd Benrahma, Ollie Watkins, Kemar Roofe, Emi Buendía, etc, etc when they had played at various lower levels and hadn't been picked up by a bigger club earlier?
Yes plenty fail, but there are a number of successes too!
He may not be the answer......he may be great look at our own......remember Rasiak coming from Dyskobolia Grodzisk or Mart Poom?

I find it completely outdated, in boxing you still have judges sat at ringside with all the video tech available these days. Anyone who's been to a boxing event will tell you dependent on where you're sitting you can see a completely different fight to someone else the opposite side of a ring, shots you think have connected have hit gloves or arms. An aggressor will look like they're walking the fight but you watch it back on tape and see it completely different. Not making excuses for some of the cards we've seen in boxing lately. The 118-110 Canelo card is scandalous however you look at it.
But get 5 judges sat in a room in separate booths with an adjudicator watching it on a screen and judge fights properly, easy fix.

I'd say if you can turn the list into a narrative. Focus on what the business benefited from (turn it into a story how you worked with the company, your understanding of the business drivers, working to deliver the solutions they rely on). For example I'd change the "attended h&s meetings" to "worked with site h&s team to ensure safety protocols are followed" or "have a good understanding of site health and safety procedures and attended regular meetings to ensure blah blah blah". Just reshape it a bit. Also avoid jargon that doesn't translate away from your employer - the Leicester Leads report might be really important but you need to describe the end result and what you did to ensure it happened.
Hope that helps. Drop me a PM if you want my thoughts. I'm an IT manager and I've read loads of CVs and I would give you my honest thoughts, positive and "areas for improvement"
And don't get despondent after 2 goes. It takes time to get a good match, both as an employer and an employee.

The last one they did with Ward, Froch etc was brilliant, surprised its taken this long for another one. Looking forward to it.
Hope Eubank gets the win then revenge against BJS, gets a lot of stick mainly because of Sr but he's a classy fighter.

Chris Eubank Jr. What do we think?
I think he'll stop him in round 8-9.
I'm more looking forward to this Super-Middleweight competition that's been set up. We could have Smith v Groves, Groves vs Eubank. I can't believe they've all agreed to do it.
But then the purses are huge, the dates are set, the British fighters may not even have to leave this country and belts are there to be collected. You can see why they've all entered.

    Well done for posting mate.
My eldest was on 3 different ones,Fluoxetine been one,we can't remember the others.
I can honestly say they didn't do him any favours.
After he had majory surgery in 2016 which went wrong,he decided to take matters into his own hands and had a serious attempt at taking his life because he couldn't face being ill anymore.Fortunately I found him and after a week in hospital he was ok.
I sat him down and explained to him that if he did it he would take us all with him because we loved him so much.
Mental illness is a terrible thing and I don't have any answers mate, but I do know that coming on here and talking about stuff helps.
    Caring bunch on here.
Keep us posted mate and good luck.
    You're not on your own.

Brook vs Spence and Groves vs Chudinov. Hope the Brits win as there is potential for some massive fights after.
That super middleweight division is dominated by British fighters.

I think he must take some of the blame. I can understand why he wants to hold on to the IBF, and thus has to face his mandatory challengers or potentially lose the belt. His injury set him back a year.
But he doesn't want to take any risks. He wants big fights in the UK, and so far is unwilling to go to America again and face the big names. He only wants belt holders, which limits his options.
There are so many belts in boxing these days that a decent resume is far more impressive than holding on to your belt for so long. Brook surely must understand this.
So many good names out there such as Maidana, Alexander, Broner, Thurman, Garcia, Porter, Bradley, Errol Spence, Matthysse, Guerrero, Lamont Peterson, Khan... Fighting them and beating them, regardless of the belts, would give him a far better legacy than just holding onto his belt for 10 years fighting mandatory challengers.
Thurman will seek every big fight out there. That's why he IMO is number one.

I think it is very easy online to make those instant judgements. It comes down to the old cliche of walking in someone else's shoes but when it is just letters on screen that isn't easy. I don't believe we as a nation are very good at talking about problems, pressure on to project a perfect life. Things like facebook were a killer for me when I was going through hard times, I'd be looking around and asking why can't I be happy, what have they got that I haven't. I hated going out, wanted to be a recluse, I felt lonely but company never put out those flames.
Once I got help, got talking, I learnt who I am, how I think, how I think I want to be seen and that I have a right to do what is best for me before others first. I learnt the stress I could handle. My dad always use to call me a closed book and it drove him crazy, but I could never tell him what was happening in my mind. Was it shame? Shame I really wasn't mentally strong? The day I finally emptied my mind was a huge relief.
My problems were a huge barrier to my happiness and to what I could achieve. A huge issue to me, was probably nothing to someone else but that doesn't matter. Our mental health is our most important and should always be given that respect.
Threads like this are a wonderful thing in encouraging and supporting each other, but the best thing is a chat in person with someone who can and will listen and a pint may make it all the sweeter.

I can see where Blackwell is coming from though, in the days after when interviewed Eubank Sr said he was telling JR to go to the body for his safety trying to look a hero, when his actual words were your not taking him out to the head (can't knock him out) attack his body. I will give it to Sr though he did say in the corner a round before the ref should be stopping this.
JR has been reaching out a lot through social media too making it look a bit "showy" when I'm sure his promoter could of got them in contact behind the scenes. The in humane comment was a bit strong from Blackwell though.

People who video important events on their mobile rather than actually experiencing them.
The Leicester City parade thing was on the TV's at the gym last night & I found myself getting irritated by the number of players walking around the stage filming it and then standing there tapping away on the phones, presumably updating Twitter or whatever. I'm sure the same would have happened regardless of which club it was & it happens everywhere now.
Just put the phone down!. It's on TV. Thousands of fans have come to see you and you're typing on your phone. Stupid.
It was the same with the athletes at the Olympics opening ceremony. This is maybe the biggest thing they are ever going to do and highlight of their career and instead of taking in the moment, they're experiencing it through their cameras.

After spending the majority of 6 years inside the house I'd like to think I know how you feel.
It's hard, really hard and most people reading this won't understand what goes off in your head, something so normal as going to the corner shop to pick up a paper scared me to death.
I won't ever claim to know the secret of overcoming it, for me it was almost forced through a relationship breakdown which at the time absolutely messed me up but looking back was also the best thing to have happened. I was too comfortable, no pressure to go outside so it was easy to put it off for another day. Tomorrow I'll try, tomorrow never comes.
The person that helped me the most was my ex girlfriends mum, the motivation of trying to win her daughter back helped me go down to the doctors, after going through all the surgeries on the NHS website not one would actually come out to me which is just nuts.
Other than finding out I had seriously low levels of vitamin D and my knee was knackered they were pretty much useless, tried to put me on anti depressants, the ones that were so strong they turn you into a zombie. After refusing them I was told to go away and find myself a councillor instead.
For me taking pills to zombify myself would only mask the issue, it was a course that I wouldn't be able to just stop either, I would have to lower the dose over several months if not years. Vitamin D supplements helped boost my energy, the main source of vitamin D is the sun, I had zero. It's also been linked to SAD and why people struggle so much in the winter. How true that is I don't know. Helped me.
I won't knock the NHS as they do a lot of good but the support and treatment for mental health issues up here at least is shocking.
Now this probably isn't the best advice but what worked for me was I called a mate, opened up, told him everything, he thought I was just loved up and bombed my mates off. He was pretty surprised by everything as I kept it well hidden. Anyway, we started going to the pub, at first sat outside, he would go in, bring the drinks out. I would have half, panic, go home.
Couple days later try again, having a mate that knew what was happening, was aware that I may suddenly start legging it home made it so much easier and he would come round unannounced some nights just to get me out.
22nd October 2013 I had my first pint inside the pub.
1st December 2013 me and my mate ended up in a gay bar down town, didn't realise until the cross dressing DJ got on the decks playing Take That.
[Insert a year of realising how great it is to be outside, going to the pub, seeing mates, online dating]
3rd January 2015 I went to my first Derby game again for years, Southport in the cup.
Never happened overnight, there was fairy with a wand or magic pills. Small small steps, one day at a time and if you fail one day it's ok, don't hammer yourself for it just try again the next day. I'm still not fully cured so to speak, I still have a few moments where I need to walk away and compose myself.
Knowing what I missed out on helps drive me through each day, I'm not religious, I don't believe in after life or I will have a second chance. 6 years I've lost of my life and there won't be a day goes by that I'm not kicking myself for it. Easier said than done but don't waste another day, you will never get them back.

I bought them both, not had a great deal of chance play either - particularly Hitman. But both seem decent. Luckily, it doesn't actually cost more to buy the complete Hitman now - I'm a stickler for having download copies rather than disks and it was like £41 off cdkeys.
I've only played through the first training mission once on Hitman, but put maybe 2 to 3 hours into the Division.

Didn't know we had a boxing thread but my top 5 fighters
    Ali - The Greatest
    Rocky Marciano - The warrior
Joe Frazier - The humble powerhouse
Wladmir Klitscho - Technically perfect most fights
Joe Calzaghe - Must be mentioned

    But back to Maywheather...
He may well be TBE on paper but he is not humble enough,
Mike Tyson summed it up "Ali is the greatest and he could walk his kids to school, Maywheather cant do that"
I think Floyd will retire into a nobody, he wont be remembered except on paper, Ali was the best, in more ways than one
