Looking at the previous 5 seasons the highest points total needed to stay up was 51, we’ve got 17 games to go 51 points to play for and only 17 needed, 5 wins a couple of draws and could afford to lose a whopping 10 games, surely we can’t fudge that up?

Peterborough got 54 points one season and went down, but still even 20 points in 17 games doesn’t feel that bad for us.
I’d imagine 50+ should be ok, so I’m fairly confident now. It would take something drastically to go wrong again to not hit that!

Needs to find some confidence in front of goal for it to work, should’ve finished a few for the u23s the other night, other than that he was outstanding though.
I liked the look of Bird further up before Bieliks injury he could possibly fit in that role too.

An interesting one from just looking at the league table, Preston have lost 13 games this season, the only team to lose more is Wycombe with 15 who are bottom. Preston currently in 11th and only 6 points off the playoffs. Derby have only lost 1 less game, the big difference they’ve only drawn 3 games and won 11, just shows the importance of turning those draws into wins even if your form is a bit mixed.

Looks like United have got one eye on Rooney for the future. If that’s what it takes to get to the promised land, then P.I.M.P away Mr Woodward.

In typical United fashion they will come out a different team second half and win this 2-1. But there is no chance our record will be beaten, I don’t think it’ll ever be beaten unfortunately.
