Listening to cocu. I feel like he might drop bogle to u23 for a couple of games to sort of bring him back to earth. He spoke previously about how to get the best out of a youngster and mentality is a massive part of they want to go to the top. If cocu sorts our jaydens mentality out by calling him out it will probably do him the world of good.

Not the best game, but the goal from Lawrence was pure class, would have won if Wisdom stays on the pitch, Bogle needs to improve his defensive side of the game Cocu was 100 percent to call him out, he has been poor for the last few games, needs to put some thought and passion into his game, best players today for me was Lawrence, Bird, Waghorn and Wisdom, Bogle and Roos to blame for there goal.

DCFC1388 got a reaction from Rammy03 in Best Full Backs in the League?
Bogle does not look interested at all, slowed the game down so much tonight, tripping over the ball or literally standing still with it before going back to Wisdom. Then when he did try to attack he couldnt cross the ball. He has 2 modes currently, doing nothing or thinking he is ronaldo and cant beat every man & his dog. Defending wise, so poor, he has gone backwards since last season imo.
Lowe, poor first half, kept letting their lad cut back onto his left foot to put crosses in. Not sure why he was left marking Benkovic for the 2nd. Improved 2nd half & put in a few decent crosses. Personally would have stuck with Forsyth tonight for his height & defending ability with it being away from home.

I love the fact that Max always comes to show for the ball. He never hides, and he always comes to take responsibility for it. It's so easy to forget he's only 19. I thought he always looked for the progressive pass where it was possible.

You're entitled to your opinion of course, but I thought he was the best player on the pitch. Hard to move the ball forward when players aren't showing for it.

He cant earn it not making the bench, he is here for the rest of the season so why not give him the chance in a cup game against lower league opposition? He was on the bench vs Palace so must've earnt it then.
I personally think he can offer more from the bench than Whittaker.

If he is happy to take a big pay cut id give him a one year deal with the option of another year.
Martin offers something neither Waghorn or Marriott can. Personally think Waghorn is better suited out wide too, played his best stuff out there under Lampard and last night showed it too.
Martin, Marriott plus a mobile tall player who can offer a bit of both. Someone in the ilk of a Abraham, Kodjia etc
Not sure how mobile he is but Lyle Taylor on a free could be a good move.

Been on the Cobblers forum for a quick look, they’ll sell around 4-4.5k of their 5.3k tickets it seems. Should make for a good atmosphere if there’s a few in the South Stand which I’m hoping as we’ll be in there for this one.
i hope we pick a strong enough team, the money from the ManU game would be useful plus I think we could give this Man U team a decent game!

Makes no difference to me. I’ll be renewing regardless of what division we’re in or transfer embargo’s we may face.

I meant that type of player. You say we cant afford them but Kodjia joined Bristol City for 2m from Angers so we can afford them if we find them before they become the 10m+ player.

Any player out of contract at the end of the season can sign a pre-contract agreement with a club from another country such as Rooney & this deal.

Give him another year, on wages that are drastically reduced.
no one else is going to offer him mega bucks, and you get the impression from some of his early season interviews that he enjoys it at Derby. As long as we match any other offers, I think he would want to stay.

As someone else said, the roar from the crowd when Tom gets stuck in is special. We all want the lad to do that all the time and he could become a favourite. The frustration with him is when he isn’t peforming and doesn’t remember that reaction from the crowd when he grafts more often. Regardless of form, we do, rightly, expect maximum effort and when Tom does that, regardless of his overall performance, he gets backed. Fans can be harsh but we’ll always applaud graft.

I think players in foreign leagues with six months left on their contract are allowed to sign formal pre-contract agreements to join a club upon the expiry of their contract.

Absolute class performance from every single player. Holmes is becoming our key player, Rooney just oozes class. On a side note because of the stick he normally gets but Tom Lawrence, well played, no lack of desire or workrate tonight. Maybe having Fozzy behind him helped him out?
