I dont see the point in signing anyone else this window pretty much everything out there currently are out of our price range or not good enough. With the current situation at the club it should have been a natural reaction to blood some youngsters. Not given any a chance to show what they can do in the first team apart from Brown's 5 minutes here and there. They would get more patience from the crowd if given this chance. 
We know that the current set up with Bird and Hourihane in midfield isnt really working but, if one was dropped and replaced by robinson who is more of a combative midfieder then it would appear that warne is addressing the situation. 
Older journeymen with injury records aint the answer.

Is Connor Wickham still a free agent? I would have thought he'd be a low cost option up front seem to remember him bagging a few at this level for forest green before he went to Cardiff

One player I'd love for us to take a risk on would be Anthony Mancini at Hartlepool. From what I've seen and heard he's a level above any player in the National League. If we're looking for a creative midfielder, he's the man. Just look at the highlights from the weekend on his return from injury, level above.

I know we need mainly attacking reinforcement but I'd really like to get Dylan Williams back from Chelsea on loan to cover for Forsyth as I'm not sure Elder is a great alternative although we've not seen much of him so I could be wrong.

With Nyambe away at the African Cup of Nations, we will again try the switch to three at the back. Given that, we should make our fullbacks wingers, and I think NML should have a well-deserved rest.

There's an argument for starting Thompson who I don't think is fit (understandably) instead of Fornah and replacing him when he runs out of gas. I'd like to see John-Jules start, but you can't drop Collins after two goals, so why not try them both together? Sibley brings oh so much more to the set piece table than Hourihane, yet it's what Hourihane is meant to be in the team for. Wildsmith has had two poor games in a row so there is an argument for Vickers, but I would retain the keeper as we're mucking about with the rest of the defence somewhat. If Fozzy hasn't got it in his legs, then Barkhuizen or Elder are good options.

I would be asking palace if ebiowei fancies a return on loan. Also ejaria (spelling) who's massively out of favour at reading. 2 players who can play anywhere across the front 3. Pace, skill to unlock defences.
