Sorry to hear this, although glad recovery is happening and you’ve already had a response.
My dad has had similar health issues recently. Mobility is a big factor, although he still manages the 2 hour train journey most home games. We’ve moved season tickets to front row of North stand for next season for this reason. Not a great view, but is ample access for him and quietest part of the stadium for footfall. Football is better when shared with others, so glad that you’ll (hopefully) get to share it with your dad

Good point. Having more than one route to goal. I don’t mind getting it wide and crossing it in if it works. But at the same time, if their defenders are winning everything in the air, trying through balls for a pacey wide men could pay dividends. The odd bobble could massively help put off the retreating defenders.

Definitely a good option to come on after 60 minutes if things need changing.

If there’s one thing we’ve not been this season, it’s leaky at the back. We're tough to break down and stingy as a defence. I reckon this is going to be a low scoring affair, with neither team scoring more than a couple at most.
The worry for us is the lack of defensive options right now, with no real left back and 2 wing backs vying the right hand side. Reckon Smith def plays next to Adams with 1 of Hourihane or Thompson in the middle to support

But will Forest get anything from it, as they don’t own their ground? It will probably go to help the City Council which is bankrupt and in bad shape

CBT is an odd one. Injured as soon as he arrives, when he’s been fit he hasn’t had a great deal of game time and when he has played I haven’t seen him make much of an impact (admittedly, more often than not he’s not been on the pitch long enough). Like you, I’m waiting to see what he can do and why he was PW’s number one target. Perhaps our current injuries challenges will give him the opportunity but I’m not sure in what position or what formation.

Depends on fitness. Back 3 pick themselves, but need attacking energy at wing back. Ebou essential, with Houri (captain plays) I’d then have 3 attackers, with NML, Waggy +1. Need to see what CBT can do soon. Also like Barks.
So 343, but can also put an extra midfielder in there when facing certain teams/formations

First step - secure a top 6 place. Then, focus on 3rd. Then, top 2. That’s the pessimist/realist in me, who’s not sure that our club can actually get over the line. Yet yesterdays win…something could be happening

It also has to be the right environment for some players to thrive. We nurtured Morgan over a few seasons but playing at the upper end of Champ meant his opportunities were limited. Also didn’t pull up any trees at Swansea. Plymouth has built him up and taken him to a good level, but it helps them playing him at an appropriate league 1 level. Ironically, if he had stayed he could have played well for us!

Weird start. Both teams have had a bit of pressure. Derby seem to have moments of intent, but at other times everyone is standing still, looking at each other. Can’t decide whether we’re up for it or still fatigued and lacking ideas

Not been able to get across the M1 much this season, but I’m making this one. Plus, my dad has recovered enough from surgery to be at Pride Park too, so will enjoy the match regardless!
I hope Warne looks at our midfield quickly, as it’s an obvious area of weakness. We need a ball winning player in there, or a playmaker that can drive through the middle. Either of those will help!

Be present. Loving your child in the early stages is being there for cuddles, feeds, reading stories, singing songs, interacting on play mat etc. seeing the smile of your baby is amazing, every time.
As they get older, be firm but fair. Don’t be quick to set ultimatums, but do follow through when you do. I remember my 3 year olds meltdown in Matlock about a piece of pear. Didn’t eat it, no ice cream. She cried for hours but I held firm. Next trip to Matlock she demanded pear first so she could get an ice cream (I didn’t take any!) she learnt the lesson. As I say though, try and stay away from ultimatums and extreme language. Hard when you’re tired and stressed!
Your child will become who they are over time. By being with them every step of the way, they’ll hold you close and want you there.
    Congratulations mate

It’s something I’ve noticed for a little while. Ever since the argument with away fans in Autumn, around the time we were underperforming and the away support was very vocal. Since then, I’ve thought Hourihane has been more reserved, like there’s been a disconnect. I’m not suggesting he’s been unprofessional, just removed from the celebrating at times.
However, last nights celebrations were very much him enjoying the moment with the fans. Great goal, and he deserved that moment.
