None of our players, coaching staff, or Wayne Rooney owe Derby County anything. They've had months where wages have gone unpaid, have had broken promises of squad reinforcements, yet in those circumstances they still go out there on a Saturday and have given us some of the most enjoyable football. Football which is played with passion and commitment, and that's all we can ask for.
If Rooney, Rosenior, or any of our players get a better offer, which can secure or further their career – then good luck to them. They have themselves to look after, but have looked after our club when we needed it.

I posted this on a separate thread but it is relevant here too. Have been busy posting comments to various newspaper articles including the DT and latterly the Daily Mail where DCFC articles pop up. Have tried to post a comment today on the excellent article by Martin Samuel in the DM countering the Middlesborough hypocrisy.

I also heard Morris voice this on Talksport too.
MFC received no punishment for their 'cheating' and the loophole was merely closed.
Certainly needs disseminating this point.

Judging by the EFL & Boro statements, Couhig will be asking himself his own set of questions.

It was never proven to be a debt, though.
Settled before the second hearing into the case, after Boro's initial claim was dismissed.
The allegation was Liverpool had been made aware of a release clause at £5.5m, but other teams weren't, so offered £7.5m.
Gibson reported LFC for tapping up, and then the PL fined Liverpool and the player.
He sued for the difference, and lost, so appealed that, which he was given permission to do.
Naturally Gibson then sued claiming £7m in damages, not the £2m difference, and claimed the extra for covering the cost of firing 3 different managers who'd been deprived of Ziege's services!
The blokes a modern day Nostradamus, making vague claims wherever he can then hoping to settle up before his laughable claims are heard in court.

Do you know if we’ve ever tried to assess values of players mid contract? A method that could somehow assign a true value. I’m surprised no-one has thought of it!

Nasty or not,  I really couldn't give a toss. 
I've seen fans gloat and take the piss for months now with many hoping to see us go under, I won't be shedding any tears if some of those got a taste of what we're going through and it doesn't matter to me if others call me nasty, bitter or any other name they can dredge up.

Its really important to try to finish this season without defeats every week, it's so hard to return to a winning mentality overnight
