Bald Eagle's Barmy Army reacted to DavesaRam in Warne Out Out
Warne has had a couple of open-goal chances to do both by playing the kids in the matches where we had gone 3 goals ahead but played Collins instead. All it needed was the right gesture, but what we got was two-fingers instead.

I’ve been very much on the fence with regards to Warne. I hate the chopping and changing and really wanted him to succeed. I keep hoping that we’re turning a corner but yesterday was yet another awful performance only rescued by NML - without him we’d have been praying for a 0-0 bore draw…. And then to hear the obnoxious manager being interviewed on RD and patronising Dom about the formation “we changed the formation in the second half and if you didn’t notice that, you don’t get football” was disgraceful. We may make the playoffs, we’re might even scrape automatics if we can put a solid run together, but I’m finished with the bloke and his stupid hats - sooner he’s gone the better…..

Couldn't agree more. I've been saying it for a while (alongside you and a few others) the academy is the one major advantage we have as a club that we can draw upon to essentially punch above our weight but we have to be set up for it and have to take some of the teething pains as we put the rights thing in place for it flourish.
The one thing I'll add, the short term "fast promotion" argument would have weight if it looked like that was what was going to happen. Last season we finished and right now we are looking for a finish that's more or less the same (within a few places). In what world does that look a fast promotion? That's my biggest biggest problem with Warne is we are doing neither a fast promotion nor building for the future.

Warne's approach is out of touch with how every other Cat 1 club operates, especially those not in the PL. Warne's "truly ready" is when they're top half L1 standard and is extremely unlikely to use them, even for a handful of minutes at the end of games.
Even youngsters on the fringe of the first team don't get in the side until we have a mini injury crisis.
Thompson - barely used last season. Was in fantastic form in pre-season, but was only used when season proper began, then only given a start when we were down to just 2 other CMs (Bird injured and before Fornah/Embleton signed)
Rooney - Not even used in the League Cup, only started when both RWBs were injured, Bradley was in the worst form of his career, and before we signed Nyambe.
Then there are our best U21 prospects such as DRobinson who aren't even used in the cups or brought on when 2 or 3 goals up with a few mins to play.
EFL Trophy - left on the bench for the 2-0 win over Lincoln
League Cup - left on the bench in a dismal performance against Blackpool
FA Cup - not used in either tie
Carlisle - 2-0
Barnsley - 3-0
Same for Weston. After scoring and assisted on his debut, he was an unused sub in the following 2 games before dropping out of the squad completely. 3-0 up vs Barnsley is a good opportunity to gain some experience and certainly better than watching from the bench. 3-1 down to Crewe was another chance for him to help the team get something from the game.

And this is exactly why the academy players need to see a good pathway to the first team otherwise they will be gone. And who could blame them??

Erm, no - Warne doesn't care about the academy so until that changes I'll keep saying it. I'm sorry.

I'd like him to say so publicly. And in some detail and in a way that we can tell he means it. If he did I would get behind him

Well there's more chance of him making the first team for Chelsea and Man U, than there is here so good luck to the lad.

It’s like saying Man City would struggle with the team they have in league one.
We’re playing football not rugby. Get it on the floor, pass it around and create opportunities to score. Football is simple.

Bald Eagle's Barmy Army reacted to Ilkestonian in Away tickets 23/24
That's true but really all I was getting at was that in my opinion any unwanted tickets should go back to the club for those on the waiting list rather than people trying to get them by circumventing the system.

So emotional today, hearing the applause ring out for Daniel. I was very heartened to read that both RamsTV and Radio Derby mentioned him in their commentaries.
Thanks, @Owen87ITK.
If anyone has either snippet, those of us at the match would love to hear them.
The moon rose over East Stand this evening in his memory.
B4 will live long in our memories. Go well, young man. 🐏⚽️🖤🤍

Our failings span over 2 seasons since March 23.
BUT, let’s forget about that bit and concentrate on a smaller number of games where we’ve still had some terrible performances.
5th in the league form table 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 who are you trying to kid apart from yourself
