We haven't won in a few games and all of a sudden it's impossible. Nonsense. We're 7 points from safety. A win for us and a loss for Reading it's down to 4. This is very much on. If we were in a scenario where we are 3 points from safety on the final day, it's would still be possible. I think everybody would take that. Yes injuries and suspensions are a problem but while we can still put a Derby County team out there with fight and determination, we can win any game. Believe.

Well must just be me and Wayne then. I thought we looked pretty decent last night. With 11 I'd have fancied us to get a point at least, they were nothing special and not really dangerous for all they passed it about.

You can’t win every game no matter how good you are.  Keep the faith we are still in the race.

I think Sibley could really flourish when Bielik is in the team. Both are players that like to drive the team forward.

Put your money into RamsTV tonight if you can afford it. There’s no restrictions to watch and it’s really good coverage.

I thought Forsyth was atrocious on Sunday to be honest.
Bird being out tonight might not be a bad thing.
He's played every single game this season. He's been poor in the last two games in my opinion so it might be a blessing in disguise for him to be honest.
    Hopefully Sibley isn't out wide.
Behind Lawrence and Plange would be perfect really.

I am disappointed you cannot see the difference between mild flirting, and a one night stand where you have plied the other party with drinks. You are Mason Greenwood and I claim my £5.

That was my understanding too. EFL are keen to spin all sorts of things to draw attention away from the issue with the hyenas by going on about it being the administrators fault for not naming a preferred bidder despite the obvious stumbling block over the massive variation what they might in theory be required to pay due to actions of other clubs. The HMRC have (I believe) been involved in talks and agreed a potential way forward but obviously if opportunist ambulance chasers suddenly want a slice of a finite pie which leaves them with less money then that agreement cannot move forward. Whatever way the EFL like to spin this, the claims by Boro and Wycombe are the things that are preventing a resolution and the EFL have encouraged these claims by their inaction and are allowing it to undermine any rescue.
I read a comment on the Boro forum about hoping that Gibson 'taking us to the cleaners' and I just thought 'You really don't get this do you'. This action will not work because it kills a takeover if it succeeds. If there is no takeover then there is liquidation and the incredibly limited assets that will produce 1/20th of bugger all as at present we have almost no assets - no ground, playing staff all on about-to-expire contracts. There has been a great deal of 'High Horse' pontificating about nasty Derby denying tax payers money to HMRC. If Boro get their way and are added as a football creditor and we are inevitably liquidated as a result then the tax payer will get sod all. How's the view from that High Horse now then ?

WHEN we get out of this mess, we get out of it a much stronger club and fan base.
I've never felt so close to this club right now that I have done for the past 40 years - Something special will happen to us, I can just feel it.
When great things happen to a football club, everything needs to tick and click and I think the last 4 months has made everybody more determined to see Derby County Football Club back where we want to be.
Like many have already said, looking up Pride Park Way yesterday is something that will live with us for the rest of our lives - we'll never drive up that road again without thinking about what we're going through and what DCFC means to us all.
It felt like I was with 10000 mates and knowing I was going to see 20000 more.

A really good comment from the BBC piece that @angieram posted above.

But as much as the march was an attack on those they feel have done their club down, this was really about the support of a football club. Thousands marched in support of their club. From the brow of the hill that goes over the railway line the snake of humanity stretched as far as the eye could see, forwards and back. There was no demographic. Male and female, old and young, middle-aged parents and stylish supporters in their early 20s.
Generations of fans made their point peacefully. All walking behind a banner proclaiming: "Founder Member of the Football League. 138 Years of Football Heritage. Save Derby County."

I'm not sure why you're so reluctant to give Palace any credit for this. I don't see any other clubs lining up to help us out with cash up front.
There are no guarantees that Plange will be able to make it as a Premier League player. There is no guarantee that CP wouldn't have been able to save themselves a million quid if they'd waited until the end of the season.
Whereas we WILL go out of business in just a few weeks if we can't scrape together enough money to get to the end of the season.
I think it's a genuine nice thing for Crystal Palace to do and I hope it does work out for them and Plange goes on to have a great career at the highest level.

Around £1m is being widely reported. Whatever it is, it was enough to convince Quantuma and Rooney that it was a deal that worked for the club at this critical time.
When was this auction due to take place, for a player who is out of contract in the summer?
Some folk need to remember Rooney's words from a couple of months ago when the EFL restrictions meant we couldn't use him in the first team : "I wouldn't blame his parents if they wanted to take him out of here". Now we've got a million quid and the use of him for the rest of the season.
I'm truly baffled by the detachment from reality of some of the comments about this transfer.
