  1. The Club have issued a statement regarding the possibility of criminal proceedings to any fans who encroach onto the pitch after final game .Should we gain promotion and get out of this awful League 1 after all of the ups and downs over the last few years l would have thought a simple gesture of letting the long suffering supporters celebrate and applaud the players is perfectly acceptable .Pompey fans assembled on the pitch last week after promotion was gained and created a fantastic spectacle. Why are Rams fans denied the opportunity after all it was common practice even in the great Clough era.The Club cites H&S worries and seems to forget that we are adults and do not need wrapping in cotton wool thank you very much.As a Club we have had little to celebrate in recent years ,Powers that be chill and let the supporters celebrate and thank the players in the time honoured way.

  2. It's been a long time since we had such a mix of attacking players it really is exciting to watch.I know our defensive record is OK but l still feel we are a bit suspect when being pressed.l know we shouldn't complain we have come such a long way as the Club is gaining back the respect all the past shenanigans lost.

  3. Almost most memorable Cup tie.

Rams v Man Utd 3rd round with Best, Charlton etc ,year around 1965 or 66 can't remember.l had queued out alnight to get a Boys end ticket all of 1 shilling and 6 pence.l gave it pride of place next to clock on mantlepiece come the day l was suffering a very heavy cold so had felt rough for a few days.Rolled out of bed and got ready for game and horror my ticket had gone ,Mam wheres my ticket for the match ? Mams reply l sold it as you are poorly and l didn't think you would be going !!!!

It was the first time the Rams had appeared on MOTD in front of a 33000 ish crowd ,oh and we got beat.

  4. Really , what short memories some supporters have ! We are defending well ,creating chances however the one thing we lack is a Hector like goal poacher. If we could just find a gem to snap up some of the chances we are creating l feel we would be at least top three.Who could do better than Warne ?

  5. Relegation league one is and always was going to be a disaster especially with the added addition of shambolic business shenanigans adding to the already dissolutioned squad and the mix was toxic to say the least.Step up Warne an experienced battler in this league however he was  hamstrung with a tiny squad ,some of those remaining obviously  itching to get away and one or two patently not fit for purpose, not to mention the transfer embargo and no free cash anyway and so you really do have a worst case scenario. The season so far has been dissapointing thus far we have been able to add players  but come on let's be realistic it is a pig of a league to get out of compound this  with having to deal with our opponents giving it all as we are seen as a big scalp .Warne is not noted for his style he is respected because he has a record of getting promotions and l for one do not care how we achieve victories l just want points and promotion out of this goddam league. If you want scintillating football go watch Man City as its not going to happen in league one that's for sure .That's not to say if we scrap and get promotion, funds increase giving us the chance to compete for good players things will not improve ,they will but we are in for a long hard ,frustrating slog of a season and who is to say there is another manager out there who could guarantee instant success.

  6. Astonished to see McClaren commenting on Uniteds defeat and giving his knowledgeable advice as to the urgent requirements Unitrd need to improve for next season .

I would have thought his mind would have been on the changes required for the Rams next season bearing in mind his part in this last tragic fiasco now playing out. Concentrate on the job ahead Steve and butt out of other clubs .
