I think that the Forum isn't a reflection of the away match day support at the moment. The comments around me recently have been pretty positive and more people are getting the fact that just because we are defending it doesn't mean we are about to concede. I think the volume of noise and encouragement at Middlesbrough and Barnsley were terrific.
At home it's much less so and the nervousness of the crowd seems to affect the players, who are less assured.
I would love us to start getting behind the team more at home - it could make all the difference. Let's start next Saturday!

Pretty happy with that, genuinely can't believe how great our away form is. When this team takes the lead, they're the most comfortable Derby team I've ever seen,
Lawrence was brilliant and energetic. He made his goal with his attitude and skill, should be proud of that. Best performance I've seen from him yet. Hope he's not out too long.
Huddlestone was different gravy. What I expected from him this season, very clearly out of this league between the ears  and his technique is unrivalled. As much as I love Thorne, Hudds does things he simply can't. MOTM.
Weimann getting a goal is massive. Have to admit, I was all up for getting rid a few weeks ago but he's my favourite player now. He's been quality recently, the best he's ever been for us but I was worried it would peter out. Not an issue now, getting that goal is only going to make him better, he's already looking uber confident but now he's got a (brilliant) goal to his name. This is the player I thought we'd signed.
What isn't mentioned enough, just because they're so good, is Keogh and Davies. Just phenomenal. If we go up, I think Vydra will get POTS but it'll be mainly down to their partnership. I thought Shackell was amazing when he partnered Keogh, but Davies is something else. Having him and Forsyth is the difference defensively.
Talking of Vyds, him and Martin were ***** for 95% of the game today. They offered almost nothing to our build up play, wasted possession and didn't click. But when we got a few passes going, as soon as there was just an inch of quality, they looked like scoring. We absolutely have to keep playing them together, Vydra's goal today reminded me of peak Bryson so much. Martin drawing a defender away ahead and a late run into the box to meet the ball. Simple finish into the corner and we're laughing. I'm not completely convinced but they clearly have potential.
Ledley was ***** on the ball but great defensively. Clearly a good player but I don't want him to be an automatic starter, particularly at home. Midfield is clearly our weakness but the defence more than makes up for it.
Glad our wingers have started to contribute, all three of Weimann, Russell and Lawrence are in form. 3 goals between them in the last two games, let's keep it up. Be a bit desperate of me to link their upturn in form to Martin starting but it might not be a coincidence. Bringing wingers into play is a strength of his. Let's see if it persists.
Ultimately, I'm just so happy with the stability at the club now. It's breeding confidence which is getting results. I think we've not really played too well this year but the leagues weak enough that we're sitting in 4th. The players seem settled, we can keep building off what we've got and everyone knows our manager's going to be here the next transfer window, and the one after, and the one after...
We're back to being a sensibly run club, surprisingly you can see the benefits.

We lost our discipline second half and let them back into the game but Carson and wieman pulled it round for us ,,, rowett hoofball merchants my arse ,, we score far too many decent goals for that to be the case ,,,, dire dire rowett ?. We score too many goals for that , we fourth top scorers in the division just now ,
not going to happen but it's about time the rowett haters gave the bloke some proper well deserved credit ,we can and do play some decent stuff ( getting better too) but we earn the right to play now ,hard work and the spirit is coming back into the club

Cheers my friend. We are staying in Pollenca for the third time so we know it quite well but Palma is an unknown, in terms of good bars and places to eat. We don’t go til May but any recommendations would be appreciated.

Decent win and an entertaining 2nd half. Sat in East Upper next to 2 blokes who arrived late, moaned all game, never clapped once or stood up (apart from to go home). If either gent is reading this and saying ‘that sounds like me’ then here’s a plea “f*** off and don’t come back ....... ever”.

Three or four genuine head in hands moments first half, but ultimately, a solid win against a poor side. How they managed to give us that much space to launch the counter attack for the opener is beyond me.
Second half I don't know how we didn't get the third and fourth. Why they didn't start Matt Smith is similarly odd as he was their only threat.
On an individual level, Carso had nowt to do, Baird was steady, Fozzy got done a couple of times but just needs persevering with, central defence unruffled, similarly central midfield. Delighted for Tom Lawrence, who look a yard quicker and an inch taller after the goal. Andy Weimann best game since Hull, Vyds had his usual in-and-out-but-popped-up-with-a-goal outing and Nuge ran his balls off. Chuffed for the lad Thomas, who's impressed whenever I've seen him for the U23's and choked for Chris that he didn't hit the net when through late on.
In the context of the Fulham win at Sheff Utd, the point at the weekend looks a good one. Solid away, in good form results wise at home if you can gloss over the aberration against Reading...but we don't look anything like as fluent as the top 6 sides of recent years. I don't really get how we're top 6.
Is the league just poor? Is the quartet of Keogh, Davies, Huddlestone and Ledley just so rugged, experienced and organised that we're genuinely massively hard to play against? How good could we be if we start to put together the flowing football when we've got it...or does the solid base prevent us from getting the numbers flowing forward to play sexy football?
That's Derby at the moment for me. A mystery in an enigma wrapped in a puzzle.
if we could get three or four out...Olsson, Anya, Bent, Shackell, for instance...and get a couple in to spice things up a bit going forward...we could take some stopping. Wolves will go, Villa look ominous, but beyond that there's bugger I'm concerned by in this league.
I just daren't let myself hope, when we're capable of b******* like that first half.

Weimann put in a MOTM performance. Never stopped running and was involved in all our best attacks (sorry haters).
Lawrence showed his quality. Always positive, some great attacking runs with the ball and some lovely passing (sorry haters).
Huddlestone didn’t have a mare. Actually played some nice stuff, controlled the midfield and was always wanting the ball. Played better than Ledley tonight, imho (sorry haters).

Go on then, why don't we all slit our wrists ... ! Jeeees we are a goal down in an away match. Yep we are a bit static but there is time. Come on, let's get behind them, look for some positives, discuss where we might tweak something and expose some weaknesses.
All this "weare rubbish or Gary is naff" ... For pete's sake !

Can I suggest a few of us get buried, in a standing up position on our goal line and that we're dug up for the second 45 minutes of every match?

Not really their fault. They say they have to sell them in the order the home club tells them to. But at both Norwich and Leeds this is an enclosed area that won't be altered so I can't see why it matters. Our tickets at both matches were behind the goal-line (looking at it from the side) yet there were loads of empty seats further along towards the 18 yard line.
As they weren't sold we moved both times but if we'd taken a bigger following then we'd have been in a considerably worse position than general fans and even the pay on the dayers!
I have to say the guys in the ticket office are as helpful as they can be and let us swap tickets for better ones where they can. They probably dread the sight of my husband approaching the counter with his stadium maps in his hand!

As a Derby fan I hope he finds the form we want from him. He has undoubted class. That’s why he was able to play for Tottenham and England. He will never be fleet of foot but his passing ability is unquestionable.
One thing’s for sure. He ain’t going to get any better with everyone slagging him off.
