Maybe you're right. I applauded Keogh. I've been going 50 years now. Today made me ask myself whether it was time to stop. Perhaps it's time to leave it to 'true fans' like you.

I can understand other clubs after two years headlines about our owner's iffy accounting and ridiculous spending and wanting to see us "get our cumuppance" but it's been heartening to hear from other supporters that they hope the club comes through this. We are very much in the having a club at all next season battle.
Everyone is glad you got your club back, best wishes for the season.

We remember how your fans supported us through our darkest hours.
We now have our club back and we are on our way back, but your fans were brilliant at Bloomfield Road singing all the Oyston out songs with us. We had a mini riot during that game, a night match and later that season, we started boycotting games home and away. 
Word is, our fans are 100% behind you during this hopefully short term blip in your great clubs situation.

Hey @Norman Why the laughing emoji’s? You can laugh but there will be the usual Mel apologists on here later defending him (again). ‘It was Sam Rush’s fault’, ‘he was just supporting his manager’, ‘he’s one of our own’, ‘duck the EFL’, ‘everything was ok till COVID’. It boils my piss that the same posters will post any old rubbish to support their agenda. Rant over.

My point is if it makes somebody feel better to express their contempt against the previous owner they should be free to do so without flippant remarks such as the one you made. 
Everybody knows ranting and raving achieves little given the predicament of the club but if it allows an author to let off steam and feel better, the kind of trite reply you posted only serves to antagonise in my opinion.

It also feels opportunistic.
2 weeks ago we beat previously unbeaten away & top the table Bournemouth. Then followed it up a few days later with a point at top the table Fulham. Unbelievable results.
One last minute defeat to a top 6 side & a narrow defeat to an admittedly poor side later & Rooney's overall record is being dredged up. Little patience & little loyalty to a manager who has carried this club quite frankly since May.
This debate also forgets Rooney's role in attracting investment. I hope people don't kid themselves that his name & contacts haven't made us a much more attractive buy. Folk gnashing their teeth about liquidation on one thread & then demanding better results from a squad this weak is just a staggering lack of lateral thinking.

Lawrence being made captain was Rooneys biggest mistake but apart from that I’m not sure what else he can do. 
 
Without a consistent goal scorer your inevitably going to lose or draw too many games. 

Interesting that Paul Cook, someone that allot of fans, me included tbh, thought would be the ideal manager for us after Cocu, has just been sacked by Ipswich despite outbidding us for several players in the summer and spending a small fortune for a League 1 club. 
Guaranteed successful appointments in football? There aren't many of those. 

I'm feeling a little pessimistic about the whole scenario, to be honest.
In the last few days, the mood music around the club has changed. 
It now seems we're in a desperate fight just to survive, from a position a week or two ago when we knew the pitfalls, had dealt with the EFL, and could at least see a future even in League One.
I don't know if that has transmitted through to the players given today's performance, but I'm nowhere near as optimistic as I was a week or two ago about on continued survival.
