Carry on with the medication and go back next week.
Professor Rays worried but not panicking.
Did some stuff to Joel that he didn’t like, but we’ll keep a close eye on him.

How is FFP ethical? It's a restriction of trade in it's purest form.
Since 2016 when Villa and Newcastle came down the transfer market down here has truly exploded, we are seeing relegated teams chucking ridiculous amounts in one window to get straight back, using monies intended to ward off financial implosion by offering 8 figure fees and high 5 figure wages for what were standard to decent tier 2 players. So clubs who don't have the same type of external income either roll over so we would see the same clubs up and down and the PL almost a closed shop, barring a meltdown or they try to match fees and wages but then fall foul of FFP.
Do I agree us and Derby were right to flog the stadium, no but we had little choice. Owners, providing they offer assurances should be allowed to match parachute payments or the PPs are removed from calculations.
But the actual point is, the games fuxked.

I am the little one on the end with my more glamorous colleague Emma, who is chatting away next to Keogh here . I am not a Samaritan myself, I work for another mental health charity.
I have only just heard what the announcer said and spotted us on screen as I am replaying last night's game. And yes, I am sad enough to take a photo of it!
I hope people also saw the players' video on the big screen at half time - really powerful. The link to it is in the other thread.

Excuse this rambling and esoteric post but I just wanted to share some emotions of my busy night when I was honoured to be asked by the club to present the match day ball pre-game.
I was co-ordinating the team of volunteers for World Suicide Prevention Day as you know so was quite tired when I went out onto the pitch with a fellow volunteer to present the ball to the referee.  I couldn't have prepared for the noise that greets you when you follow the two teams out into the stadium - it's awesome and quite overwhelming.
We stood on the touchline while the teams shook hands and then were guided across the grass through the Derby players as they peeled off from the lineups - Clarke passed really close by at speed - as we headed for the centre circle.
Waiting for the referee, I turned and gave a cheeky wave to my husband sat up high in the west stand. I was amazed how close he looked from the middle of the pitch - you really do get a different perspective from there and it has reinforced to me how much our collective behaviour and body language can affect the players throughout the game. A quick shake of hands and a few words with the referee, who was very friendly. Sorry,  I did say 'enjoy the game' to him and he might have taken me too literally!
Next it was back to the lineup with the captains for the official photos. Keogh made a point to say hello to us both which we didn't expect at such a busy time and then all too soon we were escorted back down the tunnel for our thank yous with the DCFC staff.
It was a brief but unforgettable experience, passed in a bit of a blur.
I will particularly remember the time we spent behind the scenes before we went out - we  got to meet and shake hands with Jamie Ward, who was visiting  (another winger like him wouldn't go amiss!)
We stood just behind the dressing room entrances for quite a time and there were a flurry of comings and goings as staff and Sky people were busy preparing for the game. It makes you appreciate what a complex and well drilled routine is in place to make sure everything runs smoothly. We were kept informed and also kept from getting too nervous by Lynne, who was brilliant and explained everything as we waited. I know Lynne as she is a big fan who goes to every away game so it was great to see her in  her official role.
All too soon it was time. It was brilliant to watch Keogh and the lads emerge from 'our' side and presumably the same for the Cardiff guys, who I didn’t even notice!
As we moved forward to take the match ball and our place in the queue, Phillip Cocu came out and stood in the doorway of the changing room and said hello to us, another nice moment.
We could just about hear the usual announcement in the stadium and as we moved forward that wall of sound really does hit you. After last night, I will concentrate even harder on being a positive supporter as now I have literally felt the difference that it makes!

I liked The Flintstones before they decided to give them kids, Scooby Doo before Scrappy stuck his beak in, had a crush on Jenny Hanley from Magpie, and was lucky enough to work on a few episodes of Tiswas, did Multicoloured Swap Shop an’ all, nowhere near as much fun as Tiswas.

Joel’s going in tomorrow,Prof Ray won’t be able to see him till then and we’ve decided it’s best to wait for him.
Any change and we can take him straight to the Head and Neck ward at the Hallamshire but Joel’s happy to hang on at home rather than have a night at hospital,I’ll come back to you when we’ve been seen.
    Cheers

Next one is the best shirt in my opinion that we ever had, this is the number nine worn by Kevin Wilson, a leading light in very dark times, this was the 99th year that ticked into the centenary season, denoted by the squarer numbers on the back, great shirt, great player ! Massive thanks to @LeedsCityRam for letting me take his shirt to the next generation !

This one adds to the great collection of sportsweek shirts from the promotion season of 1986/87, my best season following the Rams, I didn’t think I could beat the yellow one, but this one was made especially for Mark Wallington that season for the game v Plymouth as they obviously wore green, really nice rare shirt,  an be seen wearing it here.

Thanks to @MickD for sending me the shirt, found it’s way home, all the way from Canada A rarity in the fact it was the last time that Derby County played a league game without a shirt sponsor, this was due to the Maxwell scandal that had broken a few months earlier, it meant that that nothing was in place for the first few games of the 1991/92 season, this is a Gary Micklewhites no 7 shirt, 28 years ago.

Five surgeons are discussing what type of person makes the best patient to operate on. The first surgeon, from Belfast City Hospital, says, "I like to see accountants on my operating table because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered." The second, from Antrim Area Hospital, responds, "Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is colour coded." The third surgeon, from Royal Belfast Hospital , says, "No, I really think librarians are the best! Everything inside them is in alphabetical order." The fourth surgeon, from Musgrave Park Hospital "You know, I like construction workers...Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over.' But the fifth surgeon, from Ulster Hospital, Dundonald , shut them all up when he observed: 'You're all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There's no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains, and no spine... Plus, the head and the arse are interchangeable.’
