No way we are scoring today

Weird. He’s had a bad game today, but a very good season so far. He’s played his part in the rebuilding of the club on the pitch this season, contributing to a great defensive effort and unbeaten run for a large chunk of the season….but yeh let’s revert to writing the bloke off after a decade of service to the club because of a poor game today (along with a number of his teammates) ??‍♂️ 

They have outfought outworked and outplayed us. But we have not taken our chances and surely can’t be as ponderous second half. 3-3

They'd have to give a good deal of notice to change our fixture...ie bring it forward to a Noon Kick Off, I can see this happening knowing those tools at the EFL

That's just your and a few other's interpretation of matters, there has been no statement from Clowes to confirm such. 
Another interpretation is that Clowes has given LR until the international break, to convince him that he is the man to take us forward and rightly or wrongly, he doesn't feel that he's up to the job. This assessment hasn't just been over 9 games either, I have been frustrated with the slow play through Cocu and Rooney's tenure, during which time LR was on the coaching staff. I hoped that when he became manager, there would be a change in the style of play, unfortunately there wasn't and even when it wasn't working LR said that the players would continue to follow his instructions and play that way.
It's got to the stage at PP whereby a goal kick for Derby is just as good as a corner for the opposition. When the ball goes out for a goal kick, it's worth popping downstairs for the toilet because by the time you get back to your seat we'll have just got over the half way line and you'll missed all the heart stopping moments when we've tried to play it out of defence. We have made a reasonable start this season, in spite of these tactics, not because of them.

Despite my somewhat tongue in cheek post at the top of this thread, I've gone with Warne.  A vote with my head.  My heart says Liam inasmuch he's given his all, stuck by us and, without his graft, we'd probably not have half as a competitive club as we do now in terms of players through the door.  He gets huge thanks from me on that.  But....
..... yes we're 7th, but with the players we have, so we should be, if not higher.  We've not won away. Not even scored.  We've lost from winning positions. Even those wins we have had, none were easy or comfortable, and could have gone either way. Our tactics are readable and more experienced managers are setting up "lesser" teams to sit, then press, catch the error, and score. It's happening almost every game. Lincoln - we had 67% possession, lost. Plymouth, 2 nil up, lost. Fleetwood, 61% possession, scraped a goalless draw. 74% possession at Shrewsbury, again a goalless draw.  All that possession, nearly all in our half - we're not going to scare team, or score from there.
Many on here have shouted that Bird and Hourihane doesn't work, yet have continued to be played together.  Knight, best attacking midfielder in the league, arguably the Championship too, played at RB (yes I know there was an argument for that, but even so). None of this in truth makes great reading. Hence Warne gets my vote.
