Don't agree that it was pointless. Other than Barkhuizen, we don’t have a straight replacement for NML should he have got injured, plus it might also be a case of signing a longer term alternative - CBT is 5 years younger and should now be coming into his prime. The guy needs to be given time, he seems to be one of those players who perform better when feeling an integral part of the squad.

Those seasons all had one thing in common, a lack of widespread social media.
The moaners and the WUMs never had a platform in those years beyond their own small social circle.
I'm sure that I would have been a lot happier this season, if I hadn't constantly reading some of the negative rubbish on here. But I like to read and write about the Rams with a vast majority of the fans on here and so put up with it. My way of combating it, is to have a few days away from the forum after a defeat or particularly poor display.

After all, unlike you, I have presented some kind of objective assessment in which the mistakes are included as a part in any case. You are welcome to present evidence for your opinion that Bradley would not be more likely to make mistakes. Besides that, the fact that he can't handle playing in a back four is another indication. He needs Cashin and Nelson on each side of him so they can carry him. I believe that Bradley has committed more gross mistakes than Cashin and Nelson this season, and after all, he has spent a significant amount of time on the bench from which he has not had the chance to make mistakes. When Bradley is put in a man-on-man situation with a striker or forced to do something more advanced with the ball than pass a few yards to Cashin, I feel like anything can happen. Similarly, when he stands and wrestles with someone or can't win a header because, according to the coach, he had a cold the week before.
And Northampton away was not that long ago either.

Of course not, but that doesn’t mean that fans aren’t allowed to be annoyed at him for it. Every player who does something like that should accept it - Tom Lawrence did many times, for example.
He should’ve apologised, and moved on today. The fans were behind the whole game, there was no need to give any reaction to the south stand. Quite frankly, for the vast majority of this season, Sonny Bradley has been awful - making numerous mistakes and displaying a lack of leadership. One game yesterday doesn’t change that. He doesn’t seem willing to own up to his mistakes.

Given the pressure on us going into the game I thought that was as comfortable a performance as we could have hoped for and a further 2 or 3 goals from open play wouldn't have gone amiss.
Some of the stupid comments posted when the starting X1 was announced were embarrassing, churlish and infantile - I do wonder at some fans.

Great day today. My kids loved it and one of them bought himself a lovely black, green and white Derby tracksuit style top.
Great win and loved the tenseness at the end until Bolton result came in.
Loved Bradley scoring his first, let alone his second. He was pleased and most the crowd seemed too. Was thinking about some of his haters on here, but can't be bothered to read their expected comments pre-match.
I wondered if one of them had made the game when in the first half, Thompson let a pass get past him and go out for a throw near the left back position.
"You're sht Thompson" shouted some moron in a grim, nasalish Notts accent. We had scored the 2nd about 5 minutes earlier. Someone gave the fool some stick, to which he responded "Well, he is sht".
Hope they haven't got a ticket for the last game.

You won't find any. It's clear to anyone without an agenda that Warne prefers players who are physical, athletic and aggressive. The likes of Thomson struggle to get into the team over someone like Korey Smith, even though he's a much better player. Bird is leaving because his technical ability goes over Warne's head. And then look at someone like CBT. First half of the season he was one of the leagues better players, but suddenly we sign him and he can't get a spot - alluded to in interviews that he can't get up to pace with the squad.
Not to say this approach is bad, or to make it sound negative, but why are so many people getting defensive about it when you say Warne is a physical type manager. It's clear to see through his career that's the case, and while I do think he's a little less "lump it to the fast strong forwards" than he was at Rotherham, he's not changed too much.
It's evident when our most gifted technical players have left, are leaving, or are running out of contract.
