For me, watching sports such as cricket, golf and yes (for my sins), some football on SKY I class as entertainment. However, I go to watch Derby County because they are a passion in my life and give me a feeling of inclusion, no matter the level we happen to be playing at. Do I prefer for us to be playing exciting, attacking football - of course, who doesn't - but after a poor performance do I think to myself was I entertained? Never! Frustration and a certain level of annoyance definitely but those feelings fade as we get closer to the next match and we go again.

Got a feeling that our nerves on Saturday will be settled when news comes through that Peterborough have taken the lead against Bolton. We will then go on to claim a comfortable victory in our game.

Can you be specific as to why you think we should have sewn up automatic promotion weeks ago? Was it dropping points against Wycombe, Northampton and Charlton?
If so, since February, I wonder what Bolton fans think about their team losing to Wigan and Blackpool and failing to beat Shrewsbury, Stevenage and Exeter or Peterborough supporters with their team losing at home to Wigan, Blackpool and Carlisle then getting walloped 5-0 at Oxford?
Easy to say we should have done this, should have done that but doesn't that apply to more or less every fan at every vlub?

It's completely understandable that DC, having saved the Club by spending a significant part of his wealth, will want to seek outside investment in order to continue our progress. Assuming next Saturday goes to plan, being a Championship club is going to make Derby County a far more attractive proposition than has been the case this last 2 years.

No - you're paying good money to watch YOUR TEAM play football. If you want to guarantee being entertained then spend it on going to a West End show or to the cinema - you have the choice!
