Still don’t feel any more positive after an average nights sleep. 
 
Anyone with an ounce of sense knows we have no energy or creativity in midfield and no pace in the team. This has been evident for a long time. We don’t look like creating or scoring so the last thing we can afford to do is give away stupid goals. The defending is comical. Before the second goal last night we were all over the place at the back. Total panic stations. Worrying when we have signed specific players for the system and that this is really the only area we have ‘strengthened’. 
 
In order to turn the season around we need strong characters, leaders, pace, energy and power and without overhauling the squad I don’t see how we do it.
In terms of players, the only positives Ward, Thommo (last night) and Waggy (last night) aren’t really positives they’re just not playing as bad as the rest. 
 
I would definitely put Thommo in midfield Saturday, not that I think he is the solution but at least he will give us some bite and energy. Hopefully Sibley and Barks will be in contention Saturday. 
 
I’d hate to have to pick the team for the weekend. 
 
I regret shouting ‘What a crock of 💩’ at the final whistle. Not because it was harsh purely because I had to explain to the young one what it meant. Dad of the year.

I was looking at phases of play tonight and thinking how laboured it was. Too many touches and too long on the ball. Almost like the players aren’t playing for Warne. Bold comment I know and hope it isn’t the case but just how I saw it. 
 
With every interview he sounds more and more like David Brent. I use to find him quite refreshing but now it just grates on me.
 
I believe we need consistency from top to bottom so think we need to stick with him but he has got to go to a back 4. Hopefully injuries to Ward and Bird might just force his hand and he might actually stubble across a win. Another performance like tonight on Saturday and I can see it getting very toxic from the fans.

That’s the hilarious thing. Been banging on about a press for months but we just don’t do it. We aren’t capable, but surely he should know that with the Dad’s Army he puts out every week.

Think this reaffirms where we are. Quite ironic really, Waggy was signed on a decent contract for an over inflated price, a model that got us into so much turmoil. We then resign him as we are under a budget and can’t go out and pay decent fees at the minute so we are shopping in the bargain basement. 
 
Truth be told I wasn’t fussed when he left us so not going to pretend to be excited about him coming back. I will get behind him like I do any player who pulls on the shirt. I was just hoping for better. Certainly to wear the number 10 shirt. Only a number I know but while it was available I was hoping for a better quality of signing.
