I think it says it all when I haven’t picked a keeper (As Carson won’t be here next season) and only one defender in Bogle.

Trying to put a positive on it. Look at it this way. Back to back away games against 2 teams  with play off hopes. Before Saturday I am sure we would of been happy with 2 draws, going by that we are a point up.

Dominant keeper, new CB to go with Te Wierik and a full back or 2 who can stop crosses top of the shopping list this summer. We can’t expect different outcomes with the same players. Crosses have been our weakness for a few years now.

Was about to say exactly the same. I also believe attacking wise Forsyth is more of a threat with his early balls into the box. Can’t quite understand why Lowe cuts in so much into his weaker foot.

I think that is the case with a lot of the nets nowadays. Look next time we are at home, when the assistant referee does his check on the net the frame at the bottom lifts up quite easily.

My take on this is that Rooney will play whenever he is fit and, like has been said, both him and THudd aren't a mobile enough pairing for the Championship. Also, Bird is the future not THudd so I'd prefer Bird to be playing with Rooney as much as possible. Rooney is far more productive with the ball than THudd who tends to give it straight back to the centre backs/keeper without looking up. Even Bird against Stoke was looking to get the ball forward at every opportunity.

Exactly this. If we could just cut out sloppy goals we might be onto something. It also is no coincidence that Martin has been brought back in the last two games and we’ve looked more dangerous. Not a long term solution but will do for now.

I don’t think it’s any coincidence that with a solid full back behind him and an intelligent striker who can hold the ball up on the pitch sees him put his best performance in. As mentioned the work off the ball he did was top notch. As fans that’s all we ask.

Thought he was quality tonight. Always looking to move the ball forward, misplaced a few passes but didn’t stop him from trying to do the right thing. Did very well dropping deep and getting us playing. I can see glimpses of Thorne at his best in him.
