Derbados reacted to Rev in Get him gone.
Sorry Wayne, your time is up.
Mac III, IIII, VI I don't care which version we call on, just get it done.
3 games to go, one experienced manager on the payroll, no point him sitting in the stands watching the useless spud-headed Scouser take us down.

You have find a manager who will fit the style of football in league one.
Theres absolutely no point going for a tippy tappy play it on the grass pretty football type appointment in that league with our current squad of wet wipes, you’ll get smashed to bits by by teams with little skill but maximum physicality.
Honestly, if you want to be successful in league one, hire someone like Tony Pulis, let him sign a team full of 6 foot plus monsters to hoof it about and kick people 10 feet into the air.
you need a horribleness about you to be successful in that league, players with character and a physical presence. This team of delicate little flowers would get eaten alive as we currently stand, look at what teams like Rotherham have done to us this season, you’ll get that most weeks in league one.
This lot would fold like a pack of cards, they’re absolutely pathetic

Oh and take Liam Rosenior with you please. There was a reason he was a pundit and not the “leading championship Analyst” as it was sold at the time

It's his ******** bravado "we won't go down" thing a couple of weeks ago that's really pissed me off, fine if you can back it up and show that you've motivated the players and given them some belief in themselves, and that they believe in you bu otherwise it's just empty words that you you look like a complete rick when there's nothing to show for them. ducking *********.

We have done this deal the opposite way round to the Sheikh. Mel has seen everything he wants and needs to sell the club before going to the EFL, I also believe Alonso has paid a deposit too.
Not its down to the EFL checks which arent simply about just proof of funds. The EFL have someone new in Birch leading these checks so I expect they will be thoroughly carried out. When Wigan got to this stage the final EFL checks took a few weeks I believe. This doesnt mean anything dodgy is going in terms of the potential buyer just that the rights checks are being made. Wigans deal eventually went through.
Id rather weeks of thorough checks than just needing proof of funds and authorising the sale within 48 hours.

Derbados reacted to Nuwtfly in Rooney Out!
We have now won one game in our last eleven matches.
This was enough to send Cocu packing.
Now, it should be enough to send off Rooney.

The Mel Morris era coming to a glorious end. Loved the club, but had no idea how to run it.

If only they'd started Rooney's season from average rather than relegation...some of the players don't seem to have the requirements for a late season dogfight.

Derbados reacted to Tyler Durden in Relegation watch
Totally agree it's patently obvious that some of the players don't have the stomach for a relegation scrap.

I find it really odd that he is all over the media, talking about getting us to the Champions league, £150 million on players, he’s got investors, he hasn’t got investors and it’s just his money blah blah blah
He doesn’t even own the club yet!
Talk about running before you can even crawl!

His dad (Alonso) sat on Real Madrid’s board for a while and owned Lagrones, a segunda division club.
I mean, Mel hired his son, so Alonso may hire his dad ?

I agree he loves the club and nobody can deny that, but that doesn’t take away from his awful decision making.
passion and competence are 2 totally separate things.

Only article I could find on his net worth has it at between 1-5 million
sounds about right then. . .

I guess we wait and see, but I can't stress how much I REALLY didn't want to see this come to fruition.
I really don't like the idea of a guy who is openly far right, with limited cash of his own, coming in to become the figure head of a unknown consortium. A 29-year-old at that.
This very much looks like a nail in the coffin to me, rather than anything I can be optimistic about. If you're anything but concerned then I would really like to know what you know, because this is a bigger red flag than the fake Shiekh in my opinion.

If it makes any difference, one of the major falling outs Alonso had with Chansiri was over the manager appointment.
Alonso wanted to appoint Paul Cook, Chansiri didn’t.
Paul Cook was my choice for us also, so although I’m clutching at straws, there is that I guess?
