That's how they grew their attendances - hugely discounted tickets for anyone under 25. How many young people will be able to afford these new prices?
I suppose they could always buy a mobile phone 😉

I had my account hacked with somebody asking for one.
Personally, I deserve one for the Cambridge game. I'd never missed a game in 53 years until I got yellow fever a month ago.

We could if we tried.
Also, don't call me Shirley.

Duck egg blue, chocolate and amber. I don't know why we ever changed it.

Of course I do but it still looks absolutely rubbish
Unfortunately, we had one of our most successful periods playing dress up as Bolton

Shrewsbury with one of the all time great club badges - the lion watching his house burn down

Colours mean nothing, blame less so.
When we recall, 35 years ago.
The 97, who no longer cheer,
The grace of God, keeps the rest of us here.
It could have been you. It could have been me.
Que sera, sera, it wasn't to be.
So spare them a minute. Spare them respect.
For the family of football, for the families since wrecked.
Just one minute, to remember those lost.
Whatever the cause, T'was one hell of a cost.
Never forget the 97,
As they look down, from their Kop up in heaven.

There’s nothing to be fearful about in the Championship and I can’t believe this narrative is already being pushed.
The jump in quality really isn’t that significant, outside of the usual teams we see every year that are leaning on parachute payments to keep their squads together. Even then these teams are nothing close to infallible, especially in one off games.
A third of promoted teams from League 1 in the past five years have not only gone up and consolidated their position but they have competed at the right end of the Championship table, in some cases getting promoted or mightily close.
The teams that usually go up and find their way back to League 1 are the ones without the resources or infrastructure to hold their own.
We are only going to end up like Rotherham, Wycombe, Barnsley, Blackpool, Peterborough and others if we show a serious lack of ambition financially or there is a lack of synergy and effective strategy behind the scenes.
If Clowes, Pearce, Thomas, Hale and Warne are all working well and pulling in the same direction, why is it beyond us to build a competitive squad for the Championship, one that could finish 15-18th in year one, for instance?
No-one stands still and neither will we. Everyone resets. Teams get better. Teams get worse. Managers change. Managers improve. Managers decline.
There are so many variables at play, why would we be fearful now when we can work towards a stronger position over the summer? Such needless negativity when nothing is set in stone.

I say it’s clear to anyone without an agenda that Warne has signed players both with technical ability (Ward, Wilson, Embleton, John-Jules, CBT) AND those with physicality in their game (Nelson, Nyambe, Bradley, Adams).
He does favour an athleticism to his sides, but acting as though he hasn’t also signed and played players with some technical ability is very much the pushing of an agenda that goes on on here and amongst the fan base. How can some people claim he’s stubborn in his selection of Hourihane in one breath then say he only uses physical players in another?
We’re not a perfect team, there’s been some frustrating games this season for sure and some shocking performances, there’s also been some good stuff too.
I really find the stance of “this or that” to be so tedious.
Being objective I think people should be able to admit there’s at least some use of technical players this season and last (McGoldrick, Sibley, NML, Hourihane, Barkhuizen, Ward, Wilson, Bird) alongside the athleticism of others. Almost as if the team needed a blend of both and it’s worked to the point of putting the side in touching distance of automatic promotion…. But that’s just my opinion 🤷🏻♂️

Not true. The “original” comment you made was that Warne favours grunt football. So please stop shifting the goal posts.
We may struggle next season to get the right players, simply on the basis of funds available relative to our competitors, but that doesn’t make Warne Neanderthal… which WAS your original point no matter how you duck and dive. Sorry Bris, I hate falling out with people but you are a scratched record from a dull band.

This kind of comment really annoys me. He was a fool at Northampton but once he’d overcome the errors in his early days at Derby I don’t believe he’s been that much better or worse than most players. It reminds me of the “Keogh’s always got a mistake in him” stuff we used to see.
