How do some of you cope if you have a real crisis in your lives? Some of the reactions on here are a joke.
How many of those slagging off Mel for overspending , have also called for him to spend big on players and moaned when he hasn't?

Lot of people jumping to conclusions about MM/DCFC without facts or knowledge.
I fully believe that MM/SP would have done their homework on the valuation/ground sale to check everything is OK. I personally see the EFL falling on their faces here.

    Good week so far then.
For those that are slating Pearce, MM and the club for being incompetent, just consider this, the charge relates to the June 2018 results which I believe are submitted to the EFL in December 2018. They are then officially signed off and filed at Companies House by March 2019. It is now January 2020. The EFL are not fit for purpose if it takes them 13 or at the very least 10 months to discover a problem with the submissions.
Given that the ground sale created a huge profit, that wiped out the previous 2 years losses, this charge can only relate to the sale of the ground. We are told that this was done using a professional valuation, was within the rules in place at the time and was signed off by the EFL.
I would suggest that there is a lot of evidence in our favour and everyone should wait to see what happens before starting another witch hunt.

Ok so first off, if, by your own assertion, you're not a member of the 'Cocu out' club then clearly you do agree with me, in part at least, as I'm not either, so there's that.
Next up, can you clarify which part of my post is the assessment of Cocu with which you disagree? I'm a tad confused as I thought I was just taking the piss out of the borderline bipolar section of our fanbase.
Since you've decided to speak for me, allow me to retort. Since mid October, only two sides have gone to Boro and not been beaten and we're one of them. Why then should Cocu roll out the sackcloth and ashes routine, do you think he owes you that? And your clear inference that today's result is symptomatic of a manager who is less tactically astute than you are and knows less about the players at his disposal than you do, is frankly absurd. You do know it is possible to voice an opinion on the game without rubbishing the manager, don't you?
Today's was a very good and hard earned point against a team who have troubled much deeper squads than ours.  Boro sit top of the form table for the last 10 games, a run of fixtures that included away games at Leeds, Forest, Swansea, West Brom and Preston. Brentford, Fulham, West Brom and Leeds fill the next 4 spaces behind them. In their last three games they've beaten Preston and West Brom away without conceding a single goal and held Spurs to a draw at the Riverside. In the same 10 game period they've lost only twice, away to Leeds and Swansea and they've not lost at home since mid-October but yeah, you know, our tactics, performance and team selection today were really poor, weren't they?
To be brutally honest, fans like you who only credit the players when we win and rubbish only the manager when we don't, absolutely boil my piss.

No matter how much you Cocu Out lot moan, he ain't going anywhere and neither should he.
I thought we'd had enough short term ism, it's why we are where we are.
This season, what we're you expecting exactly?
We won't get relegated, players will come in and players will leave so maybe start your Cocu out nonsense this time next season if you must, at least allow him a couple of transfer windows and the opportunity to get rid off some dross.
If it's like this at the same time next season, that would be different, maybe.

Unwilling to accept your reading of the situation?
I, for one, think Cocu should stay, to carry on with the job he's been employed to do., a job that will take time and player changes to accomplish.
A remit on bringing the best of our youth through whilst clearing out the highly paid dead wood with no resale value.
I do not think we will be relegated and I do think crying for the managers head when things are tough is ridiculous.
Like a strong marriage, you stick together when times are tough, you then enjoy the better times together.
Is that irrational enough for you?
